It's Been A Wild Ride

Y/n's Pov

I was sitting on the living room couch with Inez eating icecream as we chatted about wedding colors schemes after flipping through wedding magazines with the radio on in the background

"I don't know about you mana, but I'm feeling the yellow theme." I say taking in another spoonful of icecream

"You think so? Cause after flipping through these I definitely think it's the right choice, you'd match with Camilo's style but of course as long as it's what you feel" Inez pointed out

I nodded, of course Camilo and I had to find middle grounds on a lot of this stuff but so far it's been pretty well, and I'm just more than happy to finally be planning out the day I've been dreaming of since I was single digits, not to mention I'll be sharing this day with the man of my dreams. "I know so, just as sure as I am about the cliff I jumped off of 2 years ago."

Inez's eyes widened "Y/n- you jumped off a cliff?! When?!"

I rubbed the back of my neck, "2 years ago Camilo took me to this cliff above a huge lake as a way of distraction from all my worries and the adrenaline rush was so worth it, as well as the time we spent in the water.." I mentioned in awe

"Jeez girl I didn't think you had it in you." She chuckled, "Funny, he said the same thing.." I giggled

"No wonder, I mean it's kinda unlike you.. you know?" She comments with a look that says 'really? You?'

"You don't believe me do you?" I speak softly, Inez sighs, "No, no not really." She replied in the same tone

I look to the side for a moment in thought, it has been a long time since I've had such an adrenaline rush.. once I'm married and have a little family with Camilo, I wont get these moments back

"You know what. " I started "Let's go do something crazy."

After calling all the girls we decided to all go out for a night on the town. We first chose to have a kareoke night which was a big success, Isa and I won by 10 points

Then took a carrage being pulled by Luisa as we sang songs in the streets, luckily it wasn't late so it didn't get us into trouble, most of the village thought we were fun

We stopped at the same place Camilo took me where we jumped off the cliff a few years ago, the other girls jumped off the cliff and were at the bottom in the water, leaving me, Mirabel and Inez

"Hey Y/n, real quick.. we invited somebody." Mirabel said in a singsong voice

She and Inez exchanged looks of excitement as they motioned for me to turn around. I turn to see the girl I thought I lost

"Julissa!" I ran to her and engulfed her into a bear hug that she gladly returned. "Hey Bride to be!" She giggled

My ears then focused on Inez's voice, "This might be an awkward time to bring this up but remember a few years ago when Camilo and I were hiding something from you? Well.."

I felt my eyes get watery, and before I know it my sinuses practically ganged up on me as I looked to face my sister "this whole time you.. you guys wanted to bring her back to me..?"

She nodded, I looked at Julissa, "I am so sorry, you have no idea" I said through tears, I've forever felt haunted by the way I treated her the time I saw her

"Hey hey hey, it's okay Y/n I forgave you so long ago.. I know you had so much going on between your family and all the shit your stupid ex put you through all at the same time.. I'm just glad I can be here for you now."

I held her close as the light gust wind dried my tear stained face, "I'm glad you're here now, and I'm so glad you found it in your heart to forgive me."

"Awe chin up L/n, Is Y/n 'the party girl' L/n down for one last wild ride? "

My smile reappeared as we notice Mirabel jump off the cliff, then went Inez

"You first " I say to Julissa, she shrugs and heads off

As my turn arrived I stepped closer to the edge, the cool night air hit my skin and my bathing suit. I felt deja vu to that day with Camilo and how I let go of everything weighing me down

Sometimes you need a mental health detox every once in a while

And with no more hesitation, I jumped

Splashing into the water I hear the range of voices cheering

The girls and I laughed, swam, played pool games, and had a toast of champagne that Inez brought

"To to future Misses Y/n Madrigal!"

This moment beats any time I spent ditching school with my old high school friends, and those were some crazy times

All I can say now is that I'm glad I came out tonight with the girls I know and love now, it's sure been a wild ride.

A/n: i can't remember if i brought julissa back already in a past chapter but if anything I'll go back and change it
