We've been running and hiding for the past three years. My hair was red and now shorter. I'm now ninteen, Michael now had purple hair with a blonde tint and has for three or four months now. He was twenty two, Maggie's hair was longer. She was nineteen too, Luke was twenty one and hasn't changed except gotten a little facial hair, and Calum had let his hair grow out some and got a few tattoos. He was twenty one. Chris's ginger hair wasn't as long anymore, as well as Luke he grown facial hair. Chris had just turned twenty three.

We've all kept together for the past three years except for Chris and Maggie. For 8 months they went off on their own to visit family then reunited with us.

We used lived in a small town in Australia. When I say USED too, I mean used too. We were currently getting on a boat to the United States in a few days but first we were going to visit my family.

This was it, I ran down the familiar driveway towards a family, they were starting to get into the car.

"Mom. Dad. Jesse!" I grinned, throwing my arms out wide.

My mom and dad looked at me confused as well as Jesse. "Do you not recognize me?" I asked.

"Do we know you." My dad stated.

I crooked my head. "Its Mackenzie, your daughter."

They had changed quite a bit. Mom's roots were showing, she now wore glasses and had slight bagginess in her face. Dad's hair was growing back slowly. He had a slight stubble, and bagginess like mom. Now Jesse, she looked amazing and beautiful. Jesse still carried her rabbit around, her hair had grown longer and she got a little darker and she was now to my mid thighs.

"Look sweetie." My mom said. "I'm sorry but this is our only daughter. You must've mistaken for us for your parents."

"But-but.. You are them. This is my house.. Jesse don't you remember me? We used to play dollies and run down the stairs, pretending our dollies were astronauts." My eyes started to water.

"I'm sorry, I don't know. Mommy can we go now?" Jesse said.

My mom sent me a sympathetic look before all three of them got into the car. When they backed out of the driveway and was down the road, I collapsed crying.

"Come on Mac." Michael crouched down in front of me. "I'm going to show you something."

He extended his hand to me and I took it. All six of us started walking down the road.

"Well that was a waste." I laughed, wiping my tears.

"This will make up for it." Michael smiled at me.

I looked down at our hands. I didn't want to admit this but I missed when our hands connected. I missed the way his lips felt on mine, how Michael would hold me tightly and never let me. He made me feel safe.

"Its been three years since we've talked about this..." I mumbled.

Mikey looked down at our hands and nodded. "I know. I wanted to give you time and secretly I thought you were over me."

"I'm not over you but I want you to find a way to say sorry to me."

He trailed his thumb over my hand. "I've been meaning too."

"Do we have enough for a cab!" Calum called out behind us.

"No." Michael stated. "We will get more money when we reach the dock on Friday until then we need it for food. When we reach our destination we'll stay there and than head out Thursday evening."

"How far is it?" Maggie whined.

You would think after walking around for three years she would stop complaining but she hasn't.
