"Are you ready?" Michael asked me. I nodded, he kissed my forehead and left towards his room. Violet and I shared a glance before we both went into our rooms. The storm had just begun, the rain hit the building hard and thunder made us all jump in fright.

I gave it a few hours before the power would be knocked out. I sat against my bed with my journal, clutched close to me. It was the closest thing I had to me.

I woke up with a beeping noise echoing threw halls. I quickly ran to the door, peaking out. The power was out, I heard the distant cries and screams from patients around me in the facility. Many guards were running up and down the halls. When the coast was clear I stepped out of my room and hurried down the hallway.

I arrived with my journal, tucked safely in the waist of my pants. Calum was already here and we were just waiting on Michael and V.

Michael showed not even five minutes after me then ten minutes for Violet.

"Remember the plan?" Michael asked us. "You go west side and we go east."

Calum nodded. "See in the basement man."

I hugged both Violet and Cal before Michael and I made our down the hall.

We heard footsteps coming our way, and Michael pulled us into the closet. I hid my face into his chest and tried to control my breathing.

Whoever it was walked off and we were in the clear.

It seemed like we had been walking for forever now and on occasion, we both ducked into the nearest room or closet.

"Just a little more." Michael said.

My forehead was beating sweat and my palms were soaked. It was nasty.

"Clifford! Sharp!" A voice said.

My eyes widened. I started to run with Michael. We both ended up at a dead end with Dr. Carson.

"Why don't you stop running? Michael. You're running away with a girl who doesn't even love you. A girl who is not having your baby. Yeah, she's pregnant. And it's mine."

Michael looked at him then at me. His eyes were watery. "You are lying!" He yelled at him.

Dr.Carson grinned. "Am I? Tell him Mackenzie."

"Mikey..." I trailed off.

"Its true isn't it?" He stuttered. "I can't believe you."

Everything seemed to be closing in on me, I didn't want him to find out. I was choked on my words.

Doctor Carson came closer and grabbed me. "You know what I else I do to her?" He asked . "I beat her and I electroshocked her. Do you know what its like fucking someone while their brains are getting fried? It's magnificent."

Michael clenched his fists. "Let her go or I'm going to kill you."

"You want her? Fine." I was pushed against the wall, my head made contact with it. Everything started to get blurry. I blinked rapidly, noticing both him and Dr.Carson throwing punches at each other. There was blood all over the wall, in my hair and on my fingers. He had busted my head open.

Multiple guards came rushing in. They restrained him and inserted a syringe into his neck. It was a blur after that. I had passed out.

And when I did, all my memories came back. I truly remembered.
