It took a day and half before I found myself across the hall, at his door. I thought I would've lasted longer than this.
I knocked twice and it swung open.

"Mac." Michael said astonished.

"Um yeah. Can we talk?"

He gestured for me to come in. I took a seat on his bed.

"So what did you want to talk about."

"Tell me why you killed Ashton. I want to know your side of the story."

Michael let out a sigh, running a hand threw his newly dyed green hair. Which looked good on him. I would never know how they let him dye his hair frequently.

"Its a long story, do you have time?"

"I've been in this mental house for over 3 months, I'm pretty sure. I do."

"First of all, I didn't kill Ashton."

"What."

"Let me explain..."

"I can't believe I'm dead."

...

Michael looked over at the hooded figure on crutches and then straight forward, at the mourning family members and friends. They were all comforting each other or blowing into their tissues.

"I didn't want to do this, I was made. My father would've killed me." He
sighed. "You have too get away from here. Are you bags packed? I took care of your airline purchase and passport."

Ashton nodded. "Yeah they're in the taxi."

"We should go..We've been here for too long." Michael trailed off and began to walk away.

Ashton took one last glance at his family then hobbled across the grass to his car. It would be the last, he would see his family. Michael had spared his life and in return he had too leave Australia, Change his name, and go into the United States for the rest of his life.

"I'm really going to miss them." He said to Michael.

He gave him a sympathetic smile. "I'm truly sorry, everything you need is in your bag in the taxi including money to last you for three years."

"I guess this is it." Ashton said.

They both exchanged a hug and Ashton got into the taxi, ready to start his new life and say goodbye to his old.

"Goodbye Ashton." Michael mumbled. He watched the taxi drive down the gravel road before getting into his own car. And driving off.

"You staged his death?" I asked. "But why?"

"My father had a family business and the first son is always required to work there and since I was the first son, I was required too. My father's business was different. He killed, and he only did when you didn't pay him back his money. Ashton in this case didn't. Ashton had been given warning, threats. Until my father has had enough, He sent me out one evening to kill Ashton. It was my first kill and I begged him not to send me, I didn't even want to do the job because I seen how those people where killed..How my father watched them beg for their lives and then he shot them. It was cruel, I wanted no part but he said that if I didn't. I would be killed. Ashton knew what I was planning because I told him and he was all in for it. I didn't hit him fast enough, only for him to get a broken leg and a few bruises. I was great friends with a doctor, I convinced him to change Ashton's doctor records to say he died at a certain time. My father believed it and I was able to get Ashton out of town. He now lives in the U.S with a new name and identity, I think with a family but the police got involved, and I ended up arrested. In court I trailed for insanity, which ended up with me being in this place. I get released in August of next year."

"Wow." Was all I could manage to make out.

"Yeah wow. I didn't want you think I was the bad guy."

"I still don't I can trust you Michael and I'm sorry. You kept this huge secret from me and it hurts because I loved you, I still do. Can we be friends?"

He looked sad. "Its better than anything, at least I won't be ignored by you."

"I'm glad you understand." I smiled. Michael gave me an hug and kissed my forehead.

"I will always love you, no matter if you move on or never be with me again."

I nodded, smuggling into his chest.

This is the best feeling ever. I didn't want to say goodbye to him, I wanted us to be as close as we were.

As friends, no matter how much my heart breaks.

I have no clue how PTSD happens or how they act, so forgive me if I'm nowhere close to what happens when it does happen to someone in the last chapter.

Every time I look at how many reads I have I think I lost like 100's of readers but instead I gained them.

Surprise to all you who thought I was cruel. I couldn't have Ashton dead. Part of this chapter has been wrote for the past three or four days and I've just been waiting for everything play out.

And it has.

So no more michenzie or Machael forever. No more! Its down the drown.

Just lies and jokes but I made the edit above it took like 2 minutes, i added words to someone else edit. The actual photo is not mine but yah. It sucks, I know.
