Chapter 26

It's already the tenth day since the Yuta incident at Mina's house. And since that day, Chaeyoung had no chance to be near Mina. Though, he still sends flower to her everymorning at her house. He also prepares lunch for her everyday, then ask Dahyun or Jihyo to give it to Mina. He had once tried to give it himself to her, but Mina immediately walked away as soon as she saw him.

But today, after almost frustated because he was at his wits end to approach Mina. Chaeyoung got a chance when Tzuyu couldn't take Mina home. Tzuyu got an important call from his manager, told him to go to his agency office immediately. While Sana didn't go to campus today because of the monthly sickness she was suffering from.

Chaeyoung instantly voluntered himself to take Mina home. He called Sana to ask  permission. And Sana had scolded him and made him to promised repeatedly not to hurt Mina, before she gave him a permission.

And here he is. Standing in front the entrance of their building, waiting for Mina to come out while smoking to make his nervousness go away. He looked up at the sky and realized that was already cloudy.

A few moments later, he saw Mina walked out while looking around her. Probably looking for Tzuyu. Then he walked to her.

" Mina " he called her.

Mina turned to him then took a long time to stare at the cigarette in his hand before bringing her gaze back to Chaeyoung's face.

Chaeyoung stubbed out his cigarette and threw it in the trash  bin before facing Mina again.

" Sorry about that. I want to say that you don't need to look for Tzuyu. He has to go first because there's something important at his agency. He said he has sent a message to you "

Mina seems clueless about that. She takes her phone and find a text from Tzuyu.

" Oh yeah. I just see it now. Thank you"

" You're welome " Chaeyoung smile at her but she didn't respond it.

" But don't worry. i'll take you home. I've already asked Sana's permission and she has allowed eventhough I have to listen to her nagging at first. but that's okay " Chaeyoung added with chuckles.

" No need. I will ask my uncle to fetch me. I can call him "

Mina thinks it's not a good idea if Chaeyoung the one who takes her home. She doesn't want to be alone with him.

Since the first day she entered college after passed out at thepark. Chaeyoung has made her life uneasy with his one-sided girlfriend claims. She had to face the glares from his fangirls wherever she go. That's why she avoided being alone with him.

" It will rain soon, Mina. You'll be standing here for along time if you wait for your uncle to fetch you. Don't worry, i'll just act like a taxi driver. You can sit in the back seat. If necessary you can share your live location to Sana and put emergency number on your speed dial or what ever it is that can make you feel sure and safe " Chaeyoung trying to persuade her.

But Mina still has doubts. She is afraid. Afraid that if the other students sees her with Chaeyoung then the killing stares from his fangirl never be ends.

" C'mon Mina.. It's starting to drip now. Let me take you. I promise i won't bother you during the trip "

Mina finally gave up. She nodded and followed Chaeyoung to his car while keeping her distance.

Chaeyoung is right. As soon as they exited the campus gate, it started to rain heavily. He has to slow down his car because he doesn't want anything happen.

He keeps his promise by not making any sound. The only sound that could be heard is the sound of rain and their breathing.

From the front mirror, Chaeyoung could see Mina shifting her gaze out of the window. She seemed to enjoying watch the raindrops on the window.
