Chapter 20

Mina opened her eyes and found out that it's already afternoon. She sat properly while hugging her knees. Her blank eyes looked at ceiling.  It's been 3 days since that incident. She never left her room and didn't go to campus. She even refuses to be approached by anyone except Sana. She feels embarassed, disgusted even miserable. The red marks on her body had turned purple.

Her strength was starting to recover but somehow her mind still felt tired.She's been having nightmares for 3 night in a row. She alwas felt sufoocated in her dreams. Luckily, Sana always wakes her up and hugs her until she calms down again.

Sana has told her everything, she also repeatedly apologized to Mina. Mina is not mad at her. She's trying to understand why her sister did that. She loves her sister and now she needs her more.

And for Chaeyoung, Mina wante to slap, hit or even kill him. However, no matter how hard her brain tries to hate him, her heart always has a way of forgiving him. Everytime she remembered that ad incident, what she always remembered first was the anger look in Chaeyoung's eyes. His eyes that have been posessed by lust. And Mina knew it wasn't Chaeyoung. Her heart always said that Chaeyoung must have a reason why he did that.

Knock.. Knock.. Knock.. " Mina, can i come in? "

Sana's voice woke Mina up from her daydreaming.

" Yes Sana "

Sana walked in with several books and journal in her arms. Since Mina didn't go to campus, Sana helped her with the permits and bring her notes about the day's lesson so she could keep up with her lesson from home.

" I heard from aunty that you didn't eat your lunch " Sana asked while sitting next to Mina. She put the books she brought on Mina's study  desk.

" I'm not that hungry. Is that notes of today lesson? "

Mina tried to change the subject. She doesn't want Sana to force her to eat. Since thet incident, she has lost her appetite.

And Sana noticed her sister's act. Actually, she didn't want to force her. But she also didn't want Mina to get sick because of it.

" Yes.. That's today notes. I've also met the dean as you wished. And finally, he agreed to your decision when I told him that your health doesn't really well "

" Thank you Sana " Mina smiled sincerely at her sister to which she responded by rubbing her head gently.

" Sana, did mom called you? "

" Yes she did. She has been nagging at me because she said it's been 3 days since she heard you. And you just replied to her text " Sana whined as she stopped rubbing Mina's head.

Their mother kept complaining about Mina not picking up her call. And Sana had to lie to her.

" I told her you had a lot of college work. At least, you talk to her even if only for a moment Mina. So she won't worry too much "

" I will " Mina turned her head to facing Sana " and thank you for not telling anyone anything about what happened "

Mina didn't want their parents, their aunty and uncle to know about what happened to her. She ask Sana to not to tell them eventhough Sana really wants to be honest. Sana thought, it's her fault and she will be responsible by accepting any punishment from their parents.

" No.. I should be the one who thanks to you and i'm sorry too Mina. I .. "

Sana didn't have a chance to complete her sentence when Mina suddenly hugging her " Can you stop saying sorry to me? " as she pleaded to Sana.

Sana wants to cry. She still feels that she didn't deserve to be forgiven just like that. But she knows what Mina needs more now is strength and she will be strong for her.
