Harry hung up, leaving us curious and shocked by the fact that we might know where Niall was.
"So?" Liam asked eagerly.
Harry looked down and then up at us again, smiling a bit.
"It was professor Fabio" he started and walked over to us. "Niall's in Washington."
A big grin spread on Zayn's face as excitement and joy ran through my body. Now we finally had something to go after, not having to just guess or assume where he was, because that sure as hell didn't give us hope or motivation to try and save him.
"That's not that far away! It's on the same continent, that's good, right?" Zayn said and stood up. "I mean we could go there like, tomorrow or something!"
"Woah, slow down there, cowboy" Harry said and crossed his arms, leaning against the wall. "We still need to figure out how to approach them and everything. What to bring, where to go, etcetera. We'll need to buy in some things in the morning and do all the planning then. We're leaving Saturday, so that we've got one day for planning and getting ready."
We all nodded, and I started feeling so excited for this trip we were going on. Okay, it wouldn't be one of those lovely road trips where friends all ate cheetos in the car and listened to Spice Girls on full power, but still. It would be delightful to get away for some time.
"How will we get days off at work?" I asked.
Harry smiled. "He gave us one week off because he knew how important this was for us."
I grinned. "Really? That's awesome!"
He nodded and smiled at me. This couldn't possibly get any better.
"Well, I'm hungry. You guys wanna go down at Willie's for some pizza?" He then said and went to the kitchen to get his car keys that were lying on Zayn's kitchen table.
"I'm in! I'm starving. But not Willie's, I wanna go to a new place" I said and hopped up from the couch.
Harry sighed. "Fine."
I smiled, satisfied.
"I can't, got some work to do. Sorry, mate" Zayn said and sighed.
"I'm really tired, so I think I'll pass this time. Haven't slept all night" Liam said and yawned.
I blushed, realizing it would only be me and Harry. Of course none of the others could. Of course they had some lame ass excuse to pass.
How bloody convenient.
"I guess it's just you and me then" Harry said and gave me a questioning look. "You okay with that?"
I knew he was thinking about the lies Fabio had told me, and the fact that I believed them. But I didn't believe them anymore. Not after I saw Harry's reaction to it. I mean how could I?
I nodded and smiled weakly. "Yeah, of course."
He smiled and went pass me, saying goodbye to the boys and leaving Zayn's flat. I did the same and ran up to catch up with him, him walking faster than me.
We got to his car after a long walk and an awkward silence in the elevator. I didn't know if Harry was still mad at me, but it seemed like it. I thought that we had cleared things up after our chat earlier on the day, but apparently not.
I turned on the volume on the radio whilst Harry was driving. The silence was too much for me, so I had to. Luckily, my favorite tune was playing.
"The sun goes down, the stars come out. And all that counts, is here and now."
I turned up the volume a bit and started singing along. Suddenly Harry turned down the volume and snorted.
"You like that song?" He asked in a judging tone.
"Uhm, duh. Don't you?"
"I hate it. It's the worst song ever made, and that group can't even sing properly. What are they called, The Enchanted?" he asked with disgust.
I widened my mouth at him and all of the sudden felt very butthurt. I looked away from him and crossed my arms.
"I'm just going to ignore that comment. Now, I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't comment on any of the songs I like unless you actually have something positive to say, thank you very much."
He chuckled and shook his head.
"And by the way, they are called The Wanted, and they happen to be my favorite group of all time so please keep your mouth shut" I finished.
He smirked at me and nodded, stifling a laugh. The rest of the ride went quiet.
