Chapter twenty three

An annoyingly loud sound of birds singing squealed in my ear. The sun hit my face, something I found a little strange cause I could swear I closed the curtains before I went to bed last night.

Last night.

The flashbacks from yesterday came flooding in like a tsunami. I remembered everything. The laughs, the smiles, the conversation. The kiss. Especially the kiss. I could still fell it linger in my fingers and in my lips. It was all kind of blurry to me because it was like I wasn't even there. I was in another world, another universe. It was hard to explain, but kissing Harry is something unexplainable. You'd have to kiss him to find out.

I smiled like an idiot and stretched my arms, turning to the side. I screamed.

"Morning, Violet."

None other than the curly-haired one was found in my bed, laying right next to me and smiling at me. I pulled the duvets further up to my face.

"Harry? What are you doing here?" I asked nervously and a bit angry.

He wiggled up and down with his eyebrows. "Don't you remember?" He asked in a slightly seductive voice.

I widened my eyes and sqealed, covering my face with my pillow. He bursted out in laughter. I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"You think this is funny?" I asked angrily.

He kept laughing. "Yes, yes I do."

I groaned at him and hopped off my bed, stomping into the bathroom. Rage and shock went through my body. Had I really done it? It all sounded strange to me, and not very likely to have happened. But wouldn't I remember? I think I would remember who I lost my virginity to. It's kind of a big deal. Besides, we weren't even drunk, so I obviously would remember.

He slowly creeped his way into the bathroom with a smirk plastered on his face.

"You know I was only joking, right?" He said and smiled.

I sighed, both releived and in despair of Harry, and furrowed my eyebrows at him. "I figured" I said and huffed.

His smile dropped and his expression turned into a concerned, apologizing look.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that. Didn't know you were so gullible either" he said and smiled.

I turned to face him. "I am not gullible."

"Are too" he said and smirked.

Here we go again.

"Are not" I rejected.

"Are too."

"Are not!"

"Are too!"

I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Shut up."

He chuckled and shook his head.

This was definetely our thing.

"How did you even get in here? And why?" I asked.

"Okay, something you need to know if you want to be friends with me; don't think for a second that I won't know where you keep the keys to your flat, because I will. I never know when something might happen to you and then I can't get into your apartment, and I won't risk that. My friends and family are my everything" he stated sweetly.

I couldn't help but grin at how cute he was. He was really a caring guy. I was suddenly really disappointed in Fabio. How could he go around telling lies about Harry like that? Sweet, caring, lovely Harry that was impossible not to like. But Fabio wasn't the only one I was disappointed in. It was me as well, for believing his bullshit. How could I? Okay, I didn't know Harry back then like I did now, but still. I could've given the poor boy a chance.

"Now, take a shower, get dressed and meet me down in the lobbey. We got a big day ahead of us, you know. And don't worry about food, we can grab something on the way" he said and smiled softly, joy and excitement put in his eyes.

I smiled, suddenly remembering what we were going to do today and closed the door behind him, locking it and checking two times if it was really locked since I was going to take a shower, and I did not want any of those awkward, stereotypical moments where he walks in on me naked in the shower, probably singing, or should I say screaming, a Taylor Swift song. Nope, that was not gonna happen.

I got out of the shower after doing my usual shower routine and looked everywhere for a towel. Usually they were just laying in the bathroom closet, but not today. Then I remembered I totally forgot to get the laundry the other night cause I was kind of in a daze after what happened between me and Harry.

Harry had gone down to the lobbey so there was nobody in my flat that could possibly get the laundry for me. I figured since Zayn lived next door, I could just call him and ask sweetly if he could do it.

Wait.

Where's my phone.

God, no.

Please tell me this is a nightmare.

Please.

Apparently I had to go around naked in my flat to get my phone. What a glorious day to be alive.

The door slowly creeked open, and I quickly glanced around the apartment to see if anyone was there, but there was no one. As I walked, my wet hair was dripping all over the livingroom. Why didn't I just put it in a bun?

Way to go, Violet.

Finally I caught my eyes on my phone, laying there so beautifully on the table in the livingroom. As much as I hated walking around naked in my flat, I almost did a little dance over to it.

Luckily, I reached Zayn on his phone and I was annoyed that he found humor in this, but then again it was kind of funny. He gladly went down and picked up my dirty laundry for me.

What a gentleman.
