Glimpse of past

Namjoon pov-

After bidding our farewell to the guests and finally our parents, we all sat in a limo to head to our home. No one had the energy to quarrel over seats. y/n sat in between me and Jin hyung.

As we reached halfway I felt some weight on my shoulder. I turned my head to find my baby sister sleeping soundly. She leaned in to snuggle in my chest as she was shivering due to cold. I quickly picked her up to let her be comfortable in my lap as I cover both of us with the only remaining blanket after others covers covered themselves. I held her to prevent her from falling and dozed off to sleep.

I woke up due to some motion. I shot open my eyes when I felt y/n's absence from my arms, only to see Jin hyung carrying her inside. I sighed in relief and moved to catch up with him to open the door for him. y/n was moving and so, we assumed that she might wake up soon. Hyung laid her on the sofa still covered with the blanket. He put her head on his laps and started massaging it gently. Others too found space and slept in the couch itself. We were all too tired to move to our rooms. I sat near her feet and noticed that she was moving her feet and repeatedly trying to remove her heels. I removed them for her and massaged her swollen feet, taking them in my laps. After a little while she started panting heavily and clutched onto her dress. I panicked and looked at hyung for help but he has slept. She wiggled in his grip and panted even harder. Soon hobi-hyung woke up. I motioned him and pointed to a fragile y/n. He too panicked and woke others for help. Everyone circled around her except for yoon-gi hyung who had directly gone to his room. And that's when she started sobbing and spoke in sleep,

"no, no the belt hurts more." She constantly pleaded someone in her sleep.

"no, aah.......... Sorry I will not tell anyone..........."

"aah.......... No............"

"you are my brother; we can't do it. It's wrong..............."

"ah........... no........l-ea-v—e m--e" she suddenly held her neck. She shot open her eyes when Jungkook hugged her as if he knew the best way to calm her or at-least wake her up. But she pushed him away and started sobbing as she held her neck.

"Princess..." Jin hyung tried to pat her head but she covered her face and bent down as if trying to avoid a slap.

"angel, you are fine here......see, your oppa is right here...." Jimin tried to approach her with a soft smile. But she still kept moving backwards in fear.

Jungkook approached her from behind and back hugged her, "bun, you are safe with us see.....open your eyes." He said and placed his chin on her shoulder and that seemed to have triggered her further. She tried to move out of his grip and kept mumbling that she won't tell anyone and that this was wrong..... she repeatedly mentioned someone named woo-shik.

I found no other option to calm her and called Byul noona for help. She told me that she and seo joon are heading to the mansion while we should keep our distance to not trigger her further but still keep trying to calm her. we must distract her, she said. I told boys about it. All of a sudden tae ran to his room. I tried to stop him but he didn't listen. I understand that he is cold but he seemed to open up to her. nonetheless, he should not leave like that when he knows that someone in this house is suffering.

He suddenly and surprisingly came back with a teddy that he had hated seeing since those days as it only reminded him of the horrific past we went through. He went to y/n and handed her the teddy from a distance. she hid herself using that large teddy and burried her face in its back.

 He suddenly started humming and soon sang a beautiful song as he slowly approached her and engulfed her in a hug. [guess the song.....].She sobbed in his arms for 10 good minutes before calming down.

y/n pov-

I woke up panting hard. I don't know why but I keep recalling those horrid moments whenever I feel happy with my brothers maybe I fear losing them or I fear that the past will repeat itself. I had a panic attack for long before I heard a soothing voice entering my ears. Someone handed me a teddy that I held as if my life was on line.

After I finally calmed down I noticed two arms wrapped around me and my head was placed on a soft but muscular chest. I looked up to find tae-hyung shi hugging me while I was laying on him.

"you good now?" he asked with the softest voice possible. He was worried about me. I nodded "thank you oppa." I noticed him smile in satisfaction and turned to others "sorry about that, you must be surprised. You can go to sleep now; I won't be able to sleep after this." I said with all the strength I could muster up and gave them the best smile i could.

"it's okay bear. Take your time to calm down."

"I will stay. You all can go. You must be tired. I had a nap in the noon so I can stay awake with her." he turned to Namjoon oppa and said while he gently caressed my hair, placing me in his laps and laying back in a comfortable position.
