The Eldest -2

Tae-hyung found jin's back facing him while the only sounds in the room were the soft breaths of the eldest. Seeing his hyung sleeping peacefully, he decided to wait for Jin to calm down a little more before approaching him. He decided to let the day pass and apologize with a hearty breakfast for his hyung.

The whole day, Jin didn't come out of his room. Acting like a spoilt brat, Jungkook said "he is just playing around, wanting us to beg him to come. Don't bother." and with these words, he took off to his room, falling to sleep after a fulfilling dinner, that was previously made by Jin while they were all busy tending to themselves (he just turned the lunch he prepared into dinner).

Not knowing that before and after the cooking, the eldest of the family had passed out, his fever taking a toll on his body, too tired to even feed himself.

It was midnight, yoon-gi was returning after a long drive with Rachel and dropping her home as a closure for his date. He found Jin setting a platter of snack on the table and putting a sticky note on the side. Looking at yoon-gi with a tired gaze, Jin returned to his room and again locked himself.

Curiously, yoon-gi went to the table and read the note 'eat it if you feel hungry or  just throw it away.' Yoongi felt ashamed for his behaviour in the earlier hours. "I'm sorry hyung. I don't deserve this." He covered the plate with plastic film and went to his room after putting it in the fridge.

Nobody noticed how Jin sneaked out of the house after yoon-gi went and neither did anyone notice the bag in his hands and tears flowing down his eyes.

"I'm sorry but I must leave. I need a break." Was the note tae-hyung found on jin's bed when he brought the breakfast apology.

He dropped on the floor with a thump, blaming himself for Jin leaving. "no. no. no. no. NO!!!" his shout attracted everyone to jin's room who were either drowsy in sleep or confused about his breakdown.

Jimin somehow found his heart aching and held the taller boy as if he were a baby. "shh tae. calm down. Calm down. It's okay. everything will be okay."

"he left. He hates me." Were the only words that could come out of taehyung's mouth after everyone went crazy trying to pacify him. Yoongi noticed him holding onto a piece of a paper and took it. the note caused even yoon-gi to lose his calm as he fell on the floor. He however, collected himself quickly and clutched taehyung's shoulders, making the younger face him.

"why did you say that he hates you? Why did you say that? Did you make him leave?" he yanked tae-hyung back and forth before finally letting him go and pacing out of the room.

"shit! Hyung, control yourselves. You're scaring tae." Hoseok said as now Jungkook joined Jimin to pacify the wailing tae-hyung. Not only was he breaking down thinking that he drove his hyung away, yoongi's aggression reminded him of all those horrid beatings he had received in past.

"he's not taking my calls. Can someone else try?" Namjoon held his phone out.

"u-unnie, Byul unnie. I'll call her." y/n ran to her room.

Taehyung and yoon-gi had calmed down when y/n came back with a scary face. All the boys were sitting on the couch, waiting for her.

"what did you all do?" her voice was cold.

"what do you mean, cupcake?" Namjoon was confused but the boys who thought back to their actions looked down in guilt.

"these boys..." y/n pointed an accusing finger at the 5 boys "they hurt him. U-unnie said oppa came to their home sometime around 2. He was crying so badly and was burning in fever. He passed out on her." Her voice was louder with each word "as if, a-as if he was waiting for someone to support and hold him before giving out."

"even if he was burning in fever, even if he was passed out, e-even if he was (sob) crying in sleep, all he kept saying was that 'don't worry, hyung will do it for you.'. all he cares about is you guys, what did you do? WHAT DID YOU DO WHILE WE BOTH WERE GONE? I know something happened, so fucking tell me." She was shaking in rage. Her eyes were bloodshot, ready to kill as tears ran down her cheeks. Her nails were piercing her palm but she couldn't care less.

"y-y/n I'm sorry." Taehyung once again broke down but y/n remained unfazed.

"next." She spoke in an icy voice, as if her Elsa persona had come back.

"I and Jimin hyung were teasing hyung." Jungkook admitted.

"I kind of spoke rudely to him." Yoongi was ashamed of himself.

"I don't remember if I did anything, I was working on my stuff that whole time. I asked him for a coffee though, but I swear that's it." Hoseok was unsure if he also unknowingly hurt Jin.

"I'm going to him. And none of you dares to come. Am I clear?" she declared. "Namjoon oppa?"

"I would come y/n but I think they also need someone." He looked at his brothers in worry.

She left with a hum.

"y-y/n...." she turned around to see Jungkook "please tell hyung to eat well." She nodded, trying to not forgive them.

"tell him that I love him." Jimin and tae-hyung said.

"tell him that I'm sorry. And for now, I'll feed these pigs, so tell him to focus on getting well." Yoongi said.

"I'll check on him regularly, so he must pick my calls. Tell him that." Hoseok said.

"y/n, you know how he is. Please force him to a hospital if its serious." Namjoon held her hand, pleading her.

"come and tell all that you him by yourselves, you bastards. First you make him sad, and then all that love shower of yours. Come with me." She broke down in a sobbing mess but she had a smile on her face. They all happily got a taxi as their eyes were blurred by tears.

My emotional battery for the week and welp, coincidently the year, is exhausted as I read and cried over multiple books of such theme to get the feel. Let's just say that Jin forgave them, but stayed over with Byul and seo-joon until he was completely recovered.
