Apologies

Next day-

The usually cheerful and lively Kim mansion fell in the void of silence. No giggling, no cute warnings could be heard anymore. Everyone ignored y/n and tae-hyung for what they did. They were not angry. They were hurt. The stupidity of her prank almost ended their relation.

Before things could go worse, last night, she texted seojun saying that she forgave him. And told Byul about her brothers' reaction. Byul advised her 'actions speak louder than words' don't ask for forgiveness, earn it.

y/n was feeling too guilty to initiate a word. Her little fun had hurt her brothers. She wanted to apologise but she knew that words will never be enough. She quietly moved out of the house and headed to school, with an empty stomach. She wanted to work for forgiveness, but didn't want to hurt them further. She silently avoided them, even at school.

During the break, she sat with se-hwa and looked at her brothers eating in silence. They seemed to have made up with tae-hyung.

"Thank God, they forgave him at least." She mumbled and diverted her gaze feeling hurt. Se hwa noticed her sad expression.

y/n pov-

"Unnie, did you guys fight?" she innocently asked.

"I made a mistake baby and now I don't know how to apologise." I answered with a heavy breath.

"I know. Make some presents and sorry cards for them. Don't buy them, make."

"Oh, and also try to cook something for them. They will surely melt." She smiled but then her innocent smile turned into a wicked one. "And don't eat with them, don't hand over the gifts personally. Show them that you can't face them." She whispered in my ear.

I look at her in shock but she just smiled and continued eating. I was not feeling hungry so I just drank the juice and left. I avoided them for the entire day and even walked back home. On my way I stopped by the convenience store to get groceries and the material for cards.

After I reached home, I directly headed to my room with all the stuff, even groceries and went to shower. After relaxing myself in a hot shower for 20 good minutes, I changed into a pair of shorts and a large hoodie that belongs to Jungkook oppa and began doing my homework.

4:00 PM---------

As soon as I peeked out of the room, I found a plate of food kept at the doorstep. I gladly took it and found a note underneath-

We are leaving for the company and will be late, don't cause trouble.

Are they that much hurt? My guilt asked me. Let's hope for the best and work on my apology. I thought and finished half the food and took a quick nap before rushing to get the hidden things that I bought earlier.

2:30 AM-------

Phew! It took longer than expected. Now its past midnight. I won't be able to cook dinner for them. Let's make breakfast. I thought and began to clear the mess I created for the past few hours.

5:00 AM-------

"That was a huge mess I created. Now, let's head to the kitchen or else Jin oppa will see me." I told myself and took the ingredients to the kitchen.

7:00 AM---------

"Thank god I didn't burn down the house." I said and giggled to myself. After that I plated the breakfast and packed all the lunches. I left the lunches on dining table with a note indicating their names on respective boxes.
