Breakdown

Jin pov-

After dad announced his marriage with Ms. Yoo, we were all a little shocked as we didn't expect him to marry her this early on. I turned my head towards left to look for y/n reaction.

She was trying hard to control herself. She gritted her teeth as she said

"but mom I thought you haven't dated for that long. Isn't it too soon to marry?" She asked barely holding herself.

"actually baby we have dated each other for more than two years now....... I was going to-"

I was really shocked when she broke the glass in her hands. She must be really angry and hurt.

"when were you planning to tell me huh? After you walked down the aisle or after you return from your honeymoon? TELL ME."

She endlessly yelled at her mom stating the fact that she was never there for her, not minding the presence of the us 8 people who are practically strangers for her, at this moment at least.

"YOU WERE NEVER THERE MOM. NEVER. I WAS LITERALLY RAISED BY MY FRIENDS AND UNCLE KANG. DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MY ALLERGIES? NAH! YOU DON'T EVEN REALISE THAT EATING OATS CAN KILL ME. OR SHOULD I SAY THAT YOU DELIBRATELY MAKE OATS EVERY MORNING SO THAT ITS ALL-OVER, ONCE AND FOR ALL."

I was kind of scared of her by now. I glanced at other boys. They too were shocked but Jimin there was a relief. He said it slowly but I hear it despite all that chaos.

"at least she lets it out." What does he mean? Did know about y/n feelings? How? Or is he happy that now this wedding will be cancelled?

No, dad has already suffered enough, he has been lonely enough all these years. He didn't date any woman after that devil left. He was scared to hurt us. But if he brought up about Ms. Yoo then it definitely means that we can trust her and he really loves her.

"y/n baby listen to me-" Ms. Yoo tried to explain but anger took over y/n.

"THEN WHAT IS IT HUH? I KNOW MY CONDITION KEPT YOU FROM DATING ANYONE, I AM SORRY."

Condition? What condition is she talking about? Is this what dad meant about her hard times? I again looked at others. My brothers were confused but dad stood there silently. Does he know about 'the condition'?

She continued yelling but her voice got lower as she began to breakdown. "but not trusting me, ignoring me when you got yourself a bunch of new kids, isn't it too much?" she said pointing at us 7. By now she had held herself from breaking down, not wanting to show her weakness to us strangers. But she couldn't seem to control now, she fell to the ground sobbing like there was no tomorrow.

Soon a familiar boy suddenly burst into the room startling everyone. He ran and crouched before y/n staring at her wet eyes with pity and concern.

Oh! He is the boy who saved her. he seems to be really close. She must be chatting to him at that time.

He then coldly glanced at Ms. Yoo. She was on the verge of tears. He lifted y/n up as she snuggled into the crook of his neck.

"why do you have to end up hurting her every single time she sacrifices for YOUR happiness. You and I both know what she went through. Still?" he said in anger and stormed out.

I followed him at dad's signal as he comforts Ms. Yoo.

He took fast paced steps towards his bike as he hummed, maybe he is trying to calm her. He placed her on the bike to sit in front of him. She gripped onto his neck.
