Armin stumbled at the contact and did his best to keep himself from falling down. He fought the urge to return the gesture or attempt to when he stood up straight again. The shriek from (Y/N) in the background letting him know exactly how he should play this. He put his hand over the already bruising spot on his face, "What the fuck?"
"Yeah, what the fuck? Why the hell would you come?!" Eren restrained himself from aiming another blow. Only because he half-way wanted to hear what the hell Armin had to say for himself, but mostly because (Y/N) was running up to him clad in a robe and clearly upset at what she had witnessed.
"Because I got-thought I got a text from an upset friend! That's a normal thing to do right?"
"You know what's not normal? Ordering my fucking girlfriend lunch after we got into a fight. Running here as soon as you think we broke up- Holy shit, I can't believe I fucking talked to you about this- I fucking knew it!-"
"Eren! What's wrong with you?" The stress leaked through her voice. She'd seen Eren throw the punch, but now that she was looking at Armin holding his face the reality sank in. Eren had literally orchestrated the confrontation. Weren't they supposed to be friends? "Oh my god! Are you okay?"
Armin flinched when (Y/N) pulled his hand from his jaw and ran her fingers of it to exam his wound. "I'm fine." Armin then turned his attention back to Eren trying to throw on a confused expression, "What did you know?"
"That you're- you're obsessed with her or something?! I don't know! But I know that this isn't normal!" Eren argued, though he did know his argument now wasn't the strongest. He could have been a little more convincing had he had a moment to think about it and gather his thoughts, but honestly, he couldn't really think at the moment. He was way too angry, and watching (Y/N) examine Armin's face was not making it any better.
(Y/N) looked over at Eren. She was more than a little frightened at the outburst and could hardly recognize the man that stood in the doorway yelling at what may now be his former friend (not that she would blame Armin in the least). If Armin had a crush on her, then sure she understood Eren's annoyance, but was that justification for violence? "Eren... calm down please..."
"Can you get away from him?" He snapped at her causing her to jump slightly at the tone.
"If you have a problem with me fine. Don't take it out on her." Armin warned, and that happened to be the last straw for Eren.
"I'm fucking leaving." Eren shoved his way past Armin and ignored (Y/N) reaching out to him.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched Eren disappear down the hallway. What just happened? What was she supposed to do now? Did he just break up with her? Did she need to break up with him? She didn't even have a chance to comprehend how utterly pathetic she must've looked standing out in the hallway with wet tangled hair and a robe while her maybe boyfriend pushed her aside before the tears started to stream.
"I-Is everything okay?" A man across the hallway peeked his head out of the doorway. The stranger didn't know much about the woman residing in 427, just that hearing arguments out in the hall was quite uncommon for her, a new one altogether, especially such a heated one. "Do you need me to call someone?"
"Uh- No! It's fine... I'm sorry! I didn't realize we were being so loud." She sniffled and quickly wiped her eyes with her sleeve trying to force an apologetic grin on her face.
The man looked over at Armin, before darting his eyes back to her. He hadn't been privy to the show of what had all taken place, so he wasn't quite sure if she was okay being left with the one standing with her, "You sure?"
