This life, which had been the tomb of his virtue and of his honour,

is but a walking shadow; a poor player,

that struts and frets his hour upon the stage,

and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot,

full of sound and fury,

signifying nothing.

- William Shakespeare

The asphalt feels cold against his back, causing the hair on his arms to stand up and the rest of his body to shiver. This October certainly has been rather cold and the shallow breeze blowing through this town didn't exactly change that. The shadows from the trees are dancing as usually around this time during the night, mocking and taunting him for not being able to join them in their movements while the cool wind is tickling his senses. Moonlight shines down between the dancers' branches, its light so strong that it feels like watching a cold sun. Mist, making the normally clear vision unclear and strange. Terror which soon will begin crawling up the unlucky person's back to fetch its prize.

The car is approaching him at a quite fast pace. But Jeff doesn't need to worry even a second. As long as humans' still have compassion, feelings and emotions left within their fragile bodies and minds they will always stop and help the person laying in the middle of the road, seemingly unconscious to the naked eye. After all, that's how they've all been raised. The vibrations from the wheels help him decide how far away the unknown people in the vehicle are.

Soon, we'll have some fun again hehe..

Wheels stopping.

An engine turning off.

The hushed voices of a woman and a man.

Echoes of what soon only will be a memory.

Jeff smiled to himself as he knew exactly what would come next. The door on the driver's side opened carefully as the man driving the vehicle stepped out and breathed the cold air. Jeff didn't even need to see them to know that fear had them in a tight grasp, never to let go off them ever again.

"Honey, call an ambulance okay?" the man's voice spoke low as he left the safety from the car and began walking closer to the assumed unconscious body on the ground.

"But sweetie, no wait! Be careful!" the woman hissed to her husband as her fingers searched for her phone in her pockets.

Walking into the lion's cage unarmed. When are you idiotic creatures ever going to learn really?

Jeff's body began trembling with anticipation and he clutched the knife tightly with his cold hand. The mist made it more difficult for the husband to see his body completely as he reached out his hand once he was standing in front of the body looking at Jeff's back.

Jack and Jill went up the hill,

"Hello? Sir, are you alright?"

To fetch a pail of water,

"Sir? Is everything as it should be?"

The man took Jeff by his shoulders and turned his body to see if he was awake. As his body was turned around by the man's warm hand, Jeff's hood fell down and uncovered his beautiful face.
