One year ago, exactly today, since I first published this story...Wow, time flows by rather quickly - doesn't it?
We are ever so slightly approaching the end as-well, yay! Enjoy!

"How could you kill your parents Jeff? And your own brother!?" she spoke with wide eyes as she could not understand how someone could commit such an act toward their own family, especially not in their younger teens. It made her sick.
"Because...B-Because..." his greasy voice spoke as he still refused to look at her.
"Because of WHAT??" she nearly shrieked at him due to his fuzziness. "There's Nothing that-"
"Because it was me or them!!!" he loudly spoke as he looked directly at her.
What...?
"What is that even supposed to mean?" she asked, a bit frustrated but also curios since she realized he was actually for the first time letting her know him - although he certainly wasn't easy to get information from.
"It was me or them, and so the choice was obvious."
"You or them?"
He grunted as the towel pressed against his wounded chest and caused the stinging pain to ring out in his entire body while those eyes seemingly stared right through him.
"...Only the weak die. But I'm not weak and I'll never become weak, because I will never die"
Silence once more inhabited the cabin as Nora looked away from him. Hearing an insane killer try to explain how and why they choose to go down the horrible path they now walked on was not exactly easy to grip. Was he trying to say that he killed them because he could?
"Only the weak die"
"That's why you kill people?" she asked as she stared empty in-front of her as Jeff's head rested in her thighs, face-turning away from her as she could feel her throat retracting as her eyes began stinging.
"...That's why you killed Jim... Is it?" she asked, anger boiling up in her as she let go of the towel meant to help him. "You killed him for not only jealousy and rage - but because you wanted to show that you were stronger?...You...You-!"
"I didn't kill him" he answered, face still turned away from hers as her legs began to feel a bit numb due to his weight.
".....If you didn't...Then who the fuck did!?" she screamed at him as her eyes felt sore. But she refused to cry, it had been enough of that - now she just wanted answers and an explanations, and she sure as hell wasn't going to leave until he'd given them to her.
Jeff suddenly moved and pushed her hands away from his torso as he dizzily sat up next to her, eyes looking extremely tired as their gaze met each other.
"The faceless one" he spoke quietly as one of his hands went up to rub the back of his neck. "Or what 'it' is more common known as...the Slenderman"
"... Are you kidding with me right now? What the hell is a 'slenderman' you drunk!?" she asked frustrated as his words did not make any sense to her whatsoever. However, as he'd spoken that particular word, a shiver ran down her back and centered itself in the stomach, giving Nora an unpleasant feeling.
"He was acting off in school wasn't he? Nervous, on the edge and as if something was...stalking him, no?" Jeff spoke as he now rubbed his temples with his own fingers, still hungover and in pain from the confrontation with it. "That idiotic friend of yours...He-he-he.. It found him and that's why he died"
