Wow. Just... Wow.
Nearly 8k reads, 400 votes and so many nice comments.. Where on earth did you all peeps come from huh!? I'm speechless to say the least. You're all awesome, you're all fantastic - and you all are the motivation needed for me to take the goat by the horns and finish this story. Thank you <3
So, with that being said: I think y'all deserve a long chapter for patiently waiting on this one... and this just might be the heaviest one yet. Not in words perhaps, but maybe, just maybe in feels.
Enjoy!

Dying.
Something everyone eventually would go through.
Yet, something we all wish would never occur despite we knowing it is inevitable - no matter how much we beg for it to not take us.
Crashing through the door she didn't even realize it was unlocked before stumbling into the hallway and knocking over several bags blocking her path. The voice coming from the kitchen was hushed, worried and nervous before it quickly made itself visible in the doorframe - eyes as green as a forest as he stared at his daughter who laid on the carpet with scratches on her skin and leaves and sticks in her hair.
"Ye-s.. Thank you.. I'll call you back... We'll be coming as quickly as we can" his face switching between blurred and focused as Nora tried to stay focused on her father's stern yet anxious face.
"Nora!" he nearly dropped the phone as he crouched and held her shivering body toward his chest.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" he shouted as he grasped her shoulders a tad too hard as those eyes seemingly looked right through her.
"I...I-" the words refused to come out.
"You know it's dangerous to go out!! Why on Earth where you doing out there anyway?? What if the police found you and-" he trailed off as those eyes fixated themselves on the old scar running down the side of her face which she'd completely forgotten to cover up along with all the new bruises. She quickly tried to fix it, yet even the biggest idiot could see that her father ever so slowly began putting the pieces together.
"Nora... What is going on here?" he spoke as the grasp around her became harder the longer he looked at her, so many expression in his face that it was difficult to decide which one was the strongest.
"You need to run dad... Go somewhere... Anywhere. I'm already lost, but that doesn't mean you need to be too. Please, just go!!"
"I..I-!"
"Who gave you that scar? And these bruises!?"
"No-one!" she shouted back at him as nausea made her head spin and stomach revolt, trying her best to push her father away from her. This was dangerous, she was already putting him in enough of a risk - if only she could tell him that and make him understand. But frankly, how could she explain something which not even she herself could fully grip?
"Was it... that Monster of a human? Did he break the mirror in the bathroom and hurt you??"
"Dad please just stop this now!!" she could feel how tears began stinging in the corner of her eyes due to everything which had happened this afternoon. It was enough, she could soon not take anymore of this nightmarish hell she lived in. She just needed it to end, somehow... Why wouldn't it just stop?
"You look exhausted, you act so on edge all the time - yet you refuse to let me drive you to the hospital when I clearly can see that there is something happening behind those eyes of yours: Nora, I need you to be honest with me - what is happening? Can't you just tell me? Please? I want to help you... So, please: why won't you let me?"
