Sorry for being gone for so long guys! I'm back now however with a new chapter! :)
Btw, when I wrote this chapter I cried like a little baby because it became a bit personally unintentionally... Leaving a link to what I was listening to when I wrote this chapter also.
Enough said, enjoy!

"Sweetie, I'm home now!" Nora's father's voice echoed in the house as he stepped inside.
His heart nearly jumped out of his old chest once he saw his daughter sit by the end of the stairs staring at him with a blank expression and with knees pulled up underneath her.
"Oh wow you scared me there sweetie haha" her father gave her a weak smile as he began removing his boots and jacket which were covered in dirt and mud.
"Have everything been alright, Nora?"
Before he had any chance to ask anything further Nora sprung up from the stairs and hugged him tightly before she began sobbing in his warm sweater, clutching the fabric tightly as big salty tears began running down her face. Her father stuttered with chock by her sudden action and dropped his jacket and bag onto the floor with a thud.
"But Nora dearest what's wrong?" he asked worried and upset before he hugged her trembling body tightly.
"Has something happened?" he asked as his priest-looking glasses glided further and further down his nosetip.
What am I supposed to say to you dad?
Nora cried like a baby and clutched her father's fabric tightly before burring her face in his comfortable arms as she spoke low, barely being able to form the words she needed to tell him.
"The- thh-e killer struc-k again, dad. The chief of Police just told iin a statement - several of his colleagues had been murdered by that-that disgusting and insane killer last night..."
Her father stroke her back gently with his warm and healing hands as his grip around her became a bit tighter. A sighed escaped from his tightly pressed lips.
"Why cannot this nightmare ever end?" he spoke tiredly as his eyes became filled with sorrow.
"Those people were good ones, only doing their work in order to keep people safe and from falling into the hands of this gruesome monster,"
When Paul said the word "monster" it sounded to Nora like he nearly spat the words out as if they were poisonous. Paul sighed again of frustration and sorrow before he pulled Nora a bit away from him and looked down at her with his hands on her shoulders. Nora's injured one ached underneath his warm hand. However, Nora did her best trying to ignore the pulsating pain which made itself reminded constantly.
"You may call me selfish for saying this Nora, but I am so happy that you weren't among the victims. I do not know what I would do if anything happened to you Nora"
Paul looked away from her as she could tell his eyes shimmered with sorrow and devastation. As his words placed themselves in her mind, new hot tears began to emerge from her already red eyes.
Dad, If you only knew how much I want to tell you that I was there, how I saw it all happen with my own eyes. I could have prevented it, Oh dad, if only I could tell you and if only I could tell you how scared I am of, Jeff...
They both stood there silently comforting each other as it began to rain outside quietly. The drops fell onto the roof and windows, sounding like teardrops falling from the cloudy sky which was hovering over the small town. Paul stroke his daughter's beautiful hair slowly.
