We don't remember days,
We remember moments

He ran.
From what, he couldn't remember. His feet and head ached, his body feeling sluggish as he ran through the forest, trying to find...
What?
Something, a place perhaps? But what kind of a place really?
For some reason he knew exactly where to go, legs seemingly moving by their own. The cabin he suddenly remembered he'd seen so many times before welcomed him with its rotten walls and floors as he pushed himself inside, falling face first at it. He grunted as he did his best to kick the door close behind him. He tried standing up but fell inevitably back down every time, until he managed to get a grip of the edge of the table heaving himself up. He hung on it as he reached for the bottle seemingly mocking him filled with the fluid he needed.
An utmost pain in the head and ribcage raged and caused Jeff to pull at his own hair, not fully understanding where it had come from. He drank desperately from the bottle, hoping it would dull the pain.
It did not.
He took another sip from the fluid when the memories came back strong like a typhoon. The realization turned his mind inside out as he began laughing nearly hysterically as everything came back to him. The news, his fight with Nora, the forest, the fight, the face-
A sever pain cut right through his head, seemingly tearing it apart as his entire body itched and twitched. Ears rang painfully with the high frequency from the static noise like it had done earlier. He put his bloody hands up to his face, pressing the hardest he could against his temples. Anything to make the throbbing headache leave him.
However, the pain wouldn't stop. It raged in his head and no matter how much he tried to dull it with alcohol it didn't stop - it only became worse. Screams made of agony and suffering began echoing through his mind and would normally have him drew a smile on his burnt lips. Now, it made him hysterical. He pulled his hair further in desperation and hit his head and face with his hot hands. He needed it to stop, to be quiet, for once... He grabbed the bottle and smashed it hard into his skull, the impact from it making him fall to the floor once again. It felt as if his entire being was melting, succumbing to a raging fire that was raking his skin just like it had the first time. Eyes feeling as if they were seeping out from their holes, his hair disappearing and his skin being once again deformed by that horrible fire that had licked his body and twisted his mind long ago.
"NNOOO...NOT AGAIN!?" he screamed as he smashed the bottle once more against his forehead, ultimately breaking it. The glass-sharps cut his skin and every part of his body that wasn't already covered in a layer of clothing as he rolled around on the floor crazily trying to avoid the fire which was hungrily eating his body.
"STOP PLEASE JUST STOP IT!"
He tried to stand up but failed miserably as he hit his head in the table and fell back onto the floor. He turned his body around, standing on all four as he threw up everything he had in his stomach. The alcohol that had been spilled when the bottle broke had gotten into his eyes, making him scream as he tried to get it away from them due to Jeff believing it to be bleach as he roared like an insane animal. The pain was too much to be kept down and his mind began showing images of his previous life, how it all had went completely to hell after that birthday party... Images he'd almost managed to get rid of popped back up into his mind, images of his father, Liu... and his mother, smiling as she kissed Jeff's father and hugged Liu from behind.
"Mom!" Jeff tried to scream as he tried standing up once more, desperately trying to grasp the image of his mother which appeared before his vision.
"Mom help me!! Please Mom just help me!? HELP ME MOM!!"
But the smile that was on her face turned into an evilly looking grin as the rest of his family began grinning too before they all broke out in a manically laughing, mocking him. Liu pointed at him as his eyes began melting from their holes, running down his cheeks as blood poured from his nose and mouth. Suddenly Jeff was surrounded with people he'd once seen, people from his former life - all pointing and laughing at him and mocking him for his uselessness and his childish behavior as the fire still raged on his skin.
"..Honey go get the gun!..."
"..Come on Fight Me!..."
"...It was me! I beat up those little punks..."
"Well, well, well - looks like we got some new meat"
"What's so funny huh?"
"What's funny is that you're covered in bleach and alcohol"
"I couldn't see my face. I got tired and my eyes started to close. But now I can see my new face, forever"
"Aren't I beautiful, mommy?"
"AAAAHHAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Jeff crawled up into a little ball, drawing is knees up to his chest while clutching his head and ears, desperately trying to shut the cackle out. The people were clawing at his clothes, his arms, legs and face with their cold and dead hands as they kept laughing and screaming at him for not hearing them out.
He began blacking out, the screams from all the people fading away further and further as the depths of the murky water pulled him closer and closer to it. As much as he welcomed it he began frantically fighting it too, afraid that it would drown him. It snaked around his waist, legs, arms, neck - anything which could pull him further and further down.
"Someone, help me"
Dragged further and further down, one name and a face popped up into his mind before it faded into blackness.
"No..ra...Help...Me..."
Please.
