"Daddy please read the story again!"
"Haha sure sweetie I'll read it one more time, then it's time for bed"
"Okay, daddy"
"Once upon a time..."
Nora sat barricaded in her room while watching a film on her computer. The whole town had been covered in mist since the heavy rainfall, causing her clase mates and friends to write all over Facebook how it felt like being in a Silent Hill game. Nora wished she could laugh, or at least smile to their comments. But knowing deranged and insane people such as Jeff weren't just portrayed in fictional video games but in real life as well made her sick and weary, thus prohibiting her from joining her friend's funny chains of comments. Paul had left earlier than expected this morning and she'd forced herself to stay awake once he'd driven away and left her all by herself. She hadn't slept anything this night, not because she couldn't but rather because she didn't want to. Jeff's face haunted her and as well as that poor man's facial expression in his last moment and wouldn't leave her alone for as much as one tiny little second. The only time it would go away was the moment she sat with her dad.
However since he wasn't here now meant that Jeff's horrific face not only could pop up in her head without warning but also outside her window as well. She looked at it anxiously as her mind started creating visions of Jeff crawling through her window, up in her bed before slowly choking her to death while that grin derided her.
CRASH.
Nora nearly flew one meter high from her bed as the loud smash rang in her ears. Fear kissed her lips and terror nestled itself in to her fragile mind.
What on Earth was that!?
Curiosity fighting for dominance over her body made her rose from her bed and slowly open her bedroom door. The house was quite. Too quite. Nora leaned out from the door while carefully looking around. No one could be seen, making her wonder whether she should cry or laugh at the situation. Everything looked as it used to do.
Was I...making that sound up or?
She walked out from her room and looked down the stairs. Nothing seemed to be broken from what she could tell. She stood there for a while taking in any sound she could hear, although all she could really hear was the rain and the loud ticking from the kitchen clock. Nora sighed and turned around facing her bedroom door and began walking back when a cold and strong hand covered her mouth. The scent that filled her nose smelled familiar as her attempting to screams became muffled as the strong grip he held around her body prohibited her from escaping.
"Now, now that's not how you greet your guest Nora"
The familiar and horrific voice made her heart beat like crazy as sweat began forming on her forehead. Without really knowing if it was panic or idiocy she bit down on his hand hard, making him cry out in pain as her teeth pierced his flesh. Jeff removed his hand from her face as expected and Nora kicked his leg hard before sprinting down the stairs to the front door.
"Why you little Bitch!" Jeff's voice roared from behind as Nora struggled with the locked door. She barely managed to move her face a little to the right when his knife came flying through the air, hitting the door with a loud smack on the exact same spot she'd had her head at just a second earlier. Nora fell to the floor before a pair of black converse kicked her in the face while one of his strong hands pulled her hair and forced her up towards him. The adrenaline was pumping in her veins, making her dizzy as Jeff stared at her with hate burning in his eyes.
