Life isn't about finding yourself,
Life is about creating yourself

"You really don't have to drive me dad, I can walk it's not far away"
"Nonsense, I'll drive you."
"But your work - "
"I start later today, so don't worry for me"
As Nora sat down next to her father in the car, her shoulder aching and her bag filled with painkillers, she couldn't help but to feel nervous. Not for having her dad driving her to school but rather because of the fact that the whole school would be filled with policmen and woman interrogating every student they could find because of the horrible murders on their colleagues in the woods last Saturday night. But there had been nearly no mention about the woman who also had met the same gruesome fate as the policemen - something that made Nora furious since it became obvious that some lives meant nothing near as much as others. She still hadn't completely understood what had happened, although she saw it all displayed infront of her it all felt like a never-ending nightmare, one that refused to let go of her consciousness and let her be. Although now all that mattered was to get through this day without giving away that she was there along with Jeff when the murders took place. If not, well she would rather not think of what would happen.
As Paul let her off by school Nora's knees began trembling as she stood there, the school seeming to grin at her while students walked slowly by her.
I can do this.
Once she'd made it into the old building and the familiar sight of the corridors and lockers greeting her Nora could see no other than Jessica stand further down the corridor alone looking at the billboard. When Nora came closer her friend turned around and gave her a worried expression before giving Nora a tight hug.
"What's going on?" Nora asked as the huge note with names on it on the billboard caught her attention.
"They've put up the scheme for when they're gonna interrogate all the students at this school. You're among the last ones Norh"
Of course I am, what else would there be to expect really?
"Oh, then when are you?" Nora asked as cold sweat began to form everywhere on her hot body. Jessica pointed at her name quite far up on the list.
"In about two hours. By the way I heard from Jim that they've called in more cops from Carolina Falls and Greenwich town, since their goal seems to be to interrogate not only the pupils but everyone else in this town too" Jessica spoke before her sight shifted from the billboard and back at Nora again.
Nora noticed that something was a little bit off with Jessica. It almost seemed as if there was something she kept herself from telling Nora and as if her thoughts were somewhere else.
"Hey Jess, is there something wrong or?" Nora asked carefully as she'd to keep herself from feeling the dread taking a strong hold on her.
Has she found out?
Jessica looked at her before she turned back at the billboard and a weak smile spread on her lips while she moved her long beautiful hair away from her pretty face.
