"What was that all about Norh?"

Silently Jessica had sneaked up next to Nora but since she'd asked her Nora figured Jessica luckily hadn't heard hers and Jim's conversation.

"I-I, eh-"

"Yes?"

"He was just, asking how it was and you know - he got a bit upset when I commented on his, eh-"

Wait, I never asked why he looked so worn out!

"Look?" Jessica filled in.

Nora nodded - better to just stick with it she supposed. Although she was indeed curious to why he'd looked so tired and exhausted.

Do I need to ask Jeff to back off from him or?

"Yeah, you know, he actually called me this morning before school"

"He did?" Nora asked genuinely surprised.

Why am I, almost feeling a bit annoyed by that fact?

"Yeah - talked a lot of gibberish about wether I was at school or on my way to it and if I was alone and blah blah, kept repeating that he felt a bit odd and weak and then returned to where I was again. And then all of a sudden he asked out of nowhere about you and where you where and if you were alright. Thss, maybe he's started watching horror films or something again, I don't know man"

"Oh" was all that managed to leave Nora's lips as a respond.

"Yeah. Oh, by the way Nora - there's something I need to tell you, uh"

Oh No... Please, don't tell me Jim told her about.... I've experienced enough dread and anxiety today why can it never end huh?

Nora must have looked terrified because Jessica rose her eyebrows before she laughed a bit at her sudden expression.

"Ha, why did you give me that look all of a sudden?"

"Well, I-uh-"

"Is there something you're trying to hide from me or?"

Why are you doing this to me?

"No, of course not!" Nora blurted out while looking away from her friend.

For some reason her cheeks burned and Nora knew that they soon would be cherry-blossom coloured.

"Too quickly Norh haha, I got you now!"

"Jessica lay it off, there's nothing I'm trying to hide from you-"

"Is it about Jim?"

What!?

Where the hell did that come from?

"Huh? - Noo, No of course not Jess I-"

"Oh come on now - I saw how your face changed to a more 'dry' expression once I said Jim'd called me but also how it softened once I said he'd brought your name up in the call."

"No it did not!"

"So how long have you been having feelings toward Jim Norh? C'mon tell me the truth now!" Jessica began nagging her - one of her traits Nora couldn't possibly hate more for the moment.

Talk about jumping to conclusion quickly...wait what am I saying!?

This was getting out off hand and the sudden and unexpected question from Jessica caused Nora's mouth to gape open with surprise before she could find her voice once again.
