"Two steps to the left. There's a chair right behind you. Sit down and...okay." Amethyst leads Isabella and Steven into Fish Stew Pizza, instructing them to take off their blindfolds, "Ta-da!"
"Fish Stew Pizza! What a nice surprise!" Steven says.
"That's not the surprise! Notice anything different?"
Isabella spots a Gem working in the kitchen, "Wait, is that Bixbite? She works here now?"
"Yeah, Isa! And she's crushing it! Bixbite is an expert at slicing and dicing, so now she can put her skills to use in the pizza shop." Amethyst exclaims as Bixbite brings some pizza to their table.
"Thank you!"
"That's awesome! Mmm~"
"Look at that 'za, brah." Amethyst measures the pizza, shapeshifting her finger into a ruler and a protractor, "Each slice exactly the same length; 45 degrees." she picks up a slice, "Wow, pure perfection. I am so proud, I almost feel bad eating it." she chomps on the slice without hesitation as Bixbite walks away.
"I didn't know Bixbite wanted a career in the culinary arts." Steven says.
"Yeah, we talked a lot about her interests and experiences. Then, I spoke to Kofi and set her up here."
"This was your idea?" Isabella asks before taking a slice and taking a bite, Steven doing the same.
"Yeah, and she's just the beginning. I wanted to do something big for the school, so I've been pairing Gems up with human jobs. The results have been amazing! I call it: the Gem-Human Excellence Mentorship, or G-H-E-M."
"Oh, I get it, like GEM." Steven says.
"No, it's GHEM. There's an "H"." Amethyst corrects him before a Ruby, dressed in black with shades, kicks the door open and somersaults inside.
"All clear, my Mayor."
Another one tries to somersault too, "All clear."
The two Rubies stand on guard as Mayor Nanefua arrives.
"You've got Rubies in your program, too?" Isabella asks.
"Yeah, and these two are Nanefua's new bodyguards." Amethyst says as one of the Rubies help Mayor Nanefua to her seat while the other keeps on lookout on the table.
"How many other Gems are working in Beach City?" Steven asks.
"Glad you asked!"

Isabella and Steven spot various Quartzes tending to the game booths and rides at Funland.
"Blue Lace Agate?" Steven gasps, "Biggs Jasper? Crazy Lace? The Quartzes have taken over Funland?"
"Yeah, man. Mr. Smiley has been understaffed for so long. I figured he could use a whole army of help." Amethyst says.
"Army?" Steven has a worried look on her face.
"What's with all those drawings in the sky?" Isabella asks, pointing at drawing of her and Steven with their faces crossed out.
"Ooh, check it out! Nephrite is doing some skywriting." Amethyst points, "With all her experience flying dropships, she's better in the air than Andy! Mmm, guess she's a perfectionist, though."
...
"Umm...Amethyst? Isn't this all a little...on the nose?" Steven asks as the trio walked along the boardwalk.
"What's wrong?" Isabella then realizes something, "Oh..."
"Oh, oh look! Snowflake Obsidian and Little Larimar found some ice-related jobs on the boardwalk." Amethyst points to the two Gems, who used their abilities to make a snow cone for Mayor Nanefua.
