"Ruby? Whoa!" Steven gets pulled away by Garnet as the Gems and two humans hide inside the barn.
"Whoa, look at those Rubies." Isabella comments.
"I knew it. They're after me! This is THE END of the line!" Peridot panics.
"You really weren't kidding." Lapis says.
"I disobeyed a direct order from Yellow Diamond, and I called her a clod... to her face."
"Oh, honestly, you call everyone a clod." Pearl rolls her eyes.
"Yes, but not everyone has command over all the armies of Homeworld waiting for the word to shatter me!" Peridot scampers to a box of baseball equipment, dumps out the contents and hides inside the box.
"Peridot, we won't let them get you." Isabella lifts up the box.
"But haven't I caused you enough trouble?"
"Don't worry, Peridot. It's our sworn duty to protect anything that calls this planet home. And that includes... clods like you." Garnet told her.
"That's my word..." Peridot whispers.
"Listen up, everyone. I have a plan. Or should I say... We have a plan." Garnet holds up her hands and gigglrs, unfusing into Ruby and Sapphire.
"Hello everyone." Sapphire greets them.
"Ruby! Sapphire!" Amethyst and Pearl run up to them.
"Group Hug!" Steven and Isabella run up to the two gems, hugging them.
"Hello, Isabella, Steven!" Sapphire giggles.
"So, what's the plan?" Amethyst asks.
Sapphire turns to Ruby, "You got this. Just act casual." she kisses her on the cheek.
"Yeah." Ruby bumps her fist against her palm, "Casual." she then awkwardly walks out of the barn and towards the Homeworld Rubies.

Ruby comes back, sweating, "They wanna search the barn!"
"We heard." Isabella told her.
"We saw." Pearl adds.
"I'm scared!" Peridot exclaims.
"Let's ambush them!" Amethyst holds up a baseball.
"No. No one needs to get hurt. Let's be sensible." Sapphire calms them down.
"What do I do?" Ruby bites her fingers as the blue gem walks up to her and grabs her hand.
"Just go out there and tell them this is a place where humans live."
Ruby sighs, "I don't wanna go alone..."
"Oh! I'll come. I'll be your backup." Steven says.
Amethyst hands him the baseball bat, "And here's some backup for your backup."

"Baseball!?" the Gems and Isabella ask in unison as Steven grins, Ruby facepalming.
"I... saw that this was a possibility," Sapphire admits, "though I am surprised that this is the path we're taking."
