In the flower meadow, Pearl and Amethyst were walking ahead.
"I can't believe that went so well!" Pearl comments.
"That was kinda great when you hit it with your spear and it went, like, "bing-bong!"" Amethyst makes explosion sounds.
Pearl blushes, "And the way you were circling around it? Almost looked like strategy."
Amethyst laughs and blushes as well, "Well, you know, I can do that stuff, too."
Garnet emerges from a meadow bubbling and warping a gemstone, Isabella emerging afterwards.
"Wait up!" Steven emerges from the meadow with a runny nose and teary eyes.
"Oh, bro. You don't look so good." Isabella says.
"Sorry I couldn't help much, I think the flowers are making me-" he gets cut off by sneezing, some snot landing on Garnet's hip, "Sorry, Garnet." Steven apologizes.
"I'll live." Garnet told him.
"Oh, Steven, you're supposed to sneeze into your antecubital fossa." Pearl scolds.
"His what?" Isabella asks.
"His... this thing." Pearl points to her inner elbow.
Steven looks at his elbow as they warp out. He gasps as he feels like he's about to sneeze.
"Do it at Pearl!" Amethyst points.
"Steven, your fossa!" Pearl exclaims.
"Ah-CHOO!" Steven is propelled upward and his head sticks out of the warp stream.
Garnet pulls his back into the stream.
"Careful! It's dangerous to stick your head out of the stream!" Pearl told him.
"Why is that?" Isabella asks.
"There's not much air, and it's very cold." Garnet explains as she flicks the frozen snot off Steven's nostrils.
"You guys, I saw something out there!" Steven exclaims.
"What?" Pearl raises an eyebrow.
"Something warping!"
"Steven, that's not possible. Is your vision blurry from the pollen?" Pearl asks.
"I can see perfectly..." Steven squints, "...Pearl."
"Really? Then why are you squinting?" Isabella asks him, crossing her arms.
Steven ignores her question, "I know there's something out there!"
"There's nothing out there, Steven. There hasn't been anything else for a long, long time." Garnet told him.
The next day...
Steven was asleep, leaning against the front door with a water gun in his hand.
"Steven~" Pearl pokes him, "We've got a surprise for you..."
"Aah! Aghh!" Steven jolts awake and sprays Pearl with the water gun.
"Gah!" Pearl falls onto the floor, surprised.
"Oh, Pearl." Steven says.
Garnet takes out a tray of cookies behind her back, "Now you're not getting any cookies."
