Lion lies down outside under the porch, yawning. It was raining outside and luckily, the Gems, Isabella, and Steven were inside.
They were sitting on the floor, eating popcorn as they watched Lonely Blade IV. The movie was in Japanese, but it was a good thing that there were English subtitles.
"It was you! You were the one who killed my brother. Cursing me to fight alone forever!" Lonely Blade spoke as lighting and thunder sounded behind him.
"Oh Lonely Blade, you so lonely." Steven comments as he was leaning against Garnet's hair. Isabella smiled, taking some popcorn.
"You think you can defeat me? The President of the Shadow Samurai Government?!" the janitor reveals a sword inside his mop.
"What?! The janitor is the evil samurai president?!" Steven asks in shock, "That's bananas!"
Pearl looks up at him, "Oh come on, it was so obvious. He's been mopping in the background of every fight scene."
"Bro...he's on the cover of the box." Isabella showed him the cover and sure enough, the janitor was on there.
"Oh yeah."
"For my honor and for my brother! I will strike you down!" Lonely Blade sticks his swords together, "Boomerang Blade!" he throws the swords only for the janitor to jump up, dodging.
"Piercing Shadow of a Thousand... Screams!"
"Go, Lonely, go!" Steven chants, "Do the Boomerang Blade again!"
"Oh come on, this is ridiculous. Just look at their form, this is nothing like real sword fighting." Pearl comments as Garnet and Amethyst shush her.
Steven laughs and grabs a handful of popcorn, "It's just a movie, Pearl."
Pearl crosses her arms, "Well, if you ever want to see a demonstration of proper sword techniques, Isabella and I'd be happy to show you."
"Uh, Pearl?" Isabella points up at Steven, who put his hand on his sister's head, staring at Pearl excitedly.
"Now?"
Pearl takes everyone to a large open area with tiled ground and marble obelisks lining both sides of the area, all of which is surrounded by low hanging clouds.
Pearl gave Isabella a sword while she held the other, "Alright, in order to give a proper demonstration, Isabella will need a sparring partner."
Steven begins to raise his hand, but Garnet immediately lowers it.
"Luckily, I have the perfect candidate right here." Pearl does a little spin as her gem glows. She projects some sort of hologram of herself.
"Cooool! Hologram Pearl!" Steven says in awe.
Amethyst was lying on a cloud, looking bored, "Ah, geez."
"Isabella, you take it from here." Pearl swipes her sword and the Holo-Pearl activates.
"Do you wish to engage in combat?" it asks.
"Let this be the perfect battle." Isabella says as Pearl tosses the other sword to the hologram.
Holo-Pearl catches the sword, getting into a pose, "You've already made a mistake by challenging me!"
