Steven and Amethyst run toward the counter of Beach Citywalk Fries, "Hey, Fryman, give me the bits!" Steven slams his hands down on the counter.
"Steven! We're closed." Mr. Fryman told him as he flips the sign.
"Aww, what?" Steven asks.
Amethyst hits the counter with her fists, "Give 'em the bits! The bits, the bits..." she chants, continuing to hit the counter as Steven joined in, "The BITS! The BITS! The BITS!"
"Okay, okay! Take it easy on the counter, will ya?" Mr. Fryman told them as he went to cook the fry bits.
"Yes!" Steven and Amethyst cheer, high-fiveing each other.
Mr. Fryman cooks the bits, putting them in a bag, "I can give you actual fries if you want."
"Just the bits, please." Steven says as Mr. Fryman hands him the bag. He takes it, "Thanks."
Steven and Amethyst walk away, eating some of the bits.
"Ah, sunset, my favorite time of day. When the sun goes down, and the second sun gets bigger and bigger in the sky." Steven's eyes sparkled.
Amethyst bursts out laughing, spitting out her bits, "Yeah, that big hot second su—" she gasps, noticing a giant thing in the sky, "Oh no, what is that doing here?"
"What is it?" Steven asks.
Amethyst picks him up and runs while Steven drops his bits, "Ah, my bits!"
On the beach, Pearl was looking through a microscope with Isabella and Garnet standing next to her. Isabella was looking through binoculars.
"This is bad." Garnet comments.
"Look at the size of it, I had no idea these things were so big!" Pearl adds.
"How big can they get?" Isabella asks as she stops looking through the binoculars.
Amethyst runs towards them carrying Steven, "Isabella! Garnet! Pearl!"
Pearl turns towards them, "We saw. Some of us are trying to protect humanity. Where were you?"
Amethyst puts Steven down, "... Eating fry bits."
Pearl sighs, clearly annoyed.
"Oh, can I see?" Steven asks his sister.
"Sure." Isabella gives him her binoculars and he peers through them.
"Woah. It's a giant eyeball! Awesome!"
"NOT awesome! It's a Red Eye!" Pearl explains.
"A Red Eye?! It’s going to infect us all!" Steven panics.
"That’s pink eye, Steven." Garnet corrects him as Amethyst laughs.
"It’s going to crash into Beach City and crush us, along with a bunch of oblivious, innocent people! We have to stop it." Pearl told them.
"What are we going to do?" Isabella asks.
Garnet adjusts her visor as she speaks, "The only thing powerful enough to destroy it is a Light Cannon that belonged to Rose Quartz."
"Our mom?" Steven questions.
Amethyst moans angrily, "If Rose were here, this would be so easy."
