"... I'm grounded?" Steven asks.
Pearl folds her arms, "Yes, you're grounded!"
"You disobeyed an order." Garnet adds.
"And now we're gonna bury you 'til you've learned your lesson." Amethyst holds up a shovel.
"Guys, that's not how grounding works!" Isabella told them.
The front door opens and the Gems, Isabella, and Steven turn to it. Greg was at the door, panting.
"Dad?"
Greg breathes heavily, "Uh, you guys better come check this out."
Outside the beach house...
"W-w-wha?"
The citizens of Beach City are murmuring worriedly as Ronaldo takes a picture with his phone.
Steven gasps, "The ocean!"
The ocean was gone. There was just sand all over the place.
Mayor Dewey yells into a megaphone as he points at the Gems, "Hey, it's those magical ladies!" he runs over to Garnet, "What's going on here?"
"The ocean is gone, obviously." Garnet answers.
"That's right. Now it's just a desert. No one wants to take a vacation to... Desert City! Aww, we're gonna lose all our summer business!" Mayor Dewey collapses to his knees.
"And all the beach babes! Awwww!" Lars whines as Sadie gives him a deadpan look.
"Who's gonna buy my fries?" Mr. Fryman asks.
"And my pizza!" Mr. Pizza adds.
"Who's gonna have fun at Funland?" Mr. Smiley asks.
"As mayor, I DEMAND you explain this immediate-" Garnet slaps megaphone out of the Mayor's hand, "-ly."
"It was Lapis Lazuli." Garnet told him.
"Lapis Lazuli?" Steven questions.
"She's the gem you two released from the mirror." Pearl projects a hologram of Lapis as the crowd murmurs.
"But she's a gem just like us." Isabella says.
"There's a lot you and Steven don't know about gems, Isabella." Pearl told her.
The Crystal Gems, Greg, Connie, and Lion are standing around as Steven and Isabella pack some supplies into Steven's cheeseburger backpack and head to the door.
"How could I have known the Gem contained in that mirror would be so powerful?" Pearl asks.
"Where are you two going?" Connie asks.
"We're leaving to fix what we did to our home. We were the ones who set Lapis free from the mirror." Isabella explains.
"Now it's our fault the ocean's gone. We're gonna bring the ocean back or get really thirsty trying." Steven adds.
