The Crystal Gems, Steven, Isabella, and Lion were standing in front of the burning wreckage from the hand ship. Steven was still on his phone with Connie.
"That could have gone... a lot worse." Pearl smiles nervously.
"Could have gone a lot better too." Garnet looks back at the broken pieces of the hand ship scattered all around the lighthouse hill and the Crystal Temple.
"Steven? I got your message. ...Steven? What happened?" Connie asks through the phone.
"We won!" Amethyst yelled, grabbing Steven by surprise and twirling him around in joy.
"Is that Amethyst?" Connie asks.
Isabella laughs in relief as Lion nuzzles her.
"Is that Isabella, too? Ah...what's going on? You said that there's some kind of giant space hand and you all might die?"
"Wooohooo! Ye-he-he-he!" Amethyst gives Steven a noogie.
"Connie! You're not going to believe what happened. Where do I even start?!" Steven talks to her.
"I see you, P!" Amethyst shouts.
"It's been a madhouse over here."
Lion walks away and leaps off as Amethyst hugs Pearl over-exaggeratedly.
"Amethyst! That's enough celebrating." Pearl told her as Greg arrives around the corner in his van.
"ISABELLA! STEVEN!"
"Dad!" Isabella quickly runs over to him.
"Connie, I-I have to go. I promise I'll call you back." Steven hangs up and runs over to his dad and sister, "Dad's back! Dad's back!"
"Oh! Thank goodness you're both okay!" Greg hugs his children tightly, "Mmmmm! I saw the spaceship start to leave and then it crashed so I came back and..." he notices Steven's black eye, "Ohhh... Your eye, Steven... But you're okay! I guess those jerks were no match for the Crystal Gems!"
"No way, they were super strong!" Isabella told him.
"But you were able to beat them back?" Greg asked hopefully.
"No. They totally stomped us! This warrior, Jasper, was super beefy and knocked us unconscious." Steven explained. As he continued talking, Greg got more worried and more panicked, "Then they abducted us onto the ship because they wanted to take us away forever. And then we crashed the ship and we almost died!"
"What did they want with you?!"
"They think we're Mom." Isabella adds.
"A-are more Homeworld Gems gonna come after you?" Greg stammered.
"I... uh... I don't know. Maybe?" Steven shrugs.
"Steven, I don't think that's helping." Isabella told him as Greg looked distraught.
"Steven, Isabella, I-I'm supportive and very proud of you. And I'll be right back." he gets in the van. All of a sudden loud death metal music started to play, "Wrong one! Stop! Eject!" Greg punches the radio and tries to calm down.
