(Sorry that I haven't been updating lately. I had a funeral to go to and the deceased was a very important person to me.)
Pearl snaps her fingers, "A 5-6-7-8!"
Steven and Amethyst try to dance in unison.
Garnet and Isabella walk over to Pearl, who was still snapping her fingers, "Synchronize!"
Amethyst tries to lift Steven, but she drops him, causing the two to laugh.
"Be serious!" Pearl told them.
Steven and Amethyst continue dancing as Pearl snaps her fingers. Amethyst successfully lifts Steven, but they both start laughing again, making Pearl stop snapping, frowning.
Isabella watches as Pearl and Garnet dance.
"Pay attention now." Pearl and Garnet perform a ballroom dance. Garnet briefly lifts her. Pearl backs into a wall as Garnet leans against the same wall; her hands on either side of Pearl's head. Pearl slightly blushes before looking over at Isabella, "See?"
Isabella takes a deep breath, "Alright."
Isabella dances with Pearl just like Garnet did and succeeds.
Amethyst teaches the two siblings a dance similar to the Macarena. They do pretty well until they reach the part where Amethyst rolls her hips. Isabella is pretty close but Steven is not as limber or flexible. Garnet teaches the two siblings next. The two dance real well until Garnet goes faster. Isabella was pretty close as well but Steven couldn't keep up with the speed of Garnet's hand movements. Pearl tries to do a dance with Steven and Isabella but accidentally hits Steven in the face with her leg since he's too short. He lands on his side with a blank face. Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Isabella snap in unison while Steven is a bit off beat. Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst, and Isabella each put one foot forward as Steven puts forward his left hand. The Gems and Isabella run in unison, while Steven runs the wrong way. He corrects his mistake by turning around and catching up to them. Amethyst, Pearl, Garnet, and Isabella in unison slide, leap, and pose in midair. Steven tries to jump and pose as well but quickly falls to the ground.
Steven was carrying a towel around his neck, "I don't get it, I thought I almost had it."
Isabella walks over to him, sitting in one of the chairs by the counter, "You'll get better, bro."
Pearl walks over and leans against the island counter, "Nobody expects you to be able to perform fusion right away, Steven."
Amethyst trots over and hops on top of the counter, "Yeah! It's really hard, even for us."
Garnet leans against the cabinets, "Not for me."
"We'll keep working on the dance for now, and who knows, in a few years..." Pearl pauses and puts a finger on her chin, thinking, "I wonder though if their bodies are capable of fusion. Fusion merges the physical forms of gems, but Steven and Isabella are half-human. They're organic."
"Organic?" Steven asks.
"Aw, come on! It's Isabella and Steven!" Amethyst starts to speak in a funny voice, "Who knows what's gonna happen?" she laughs heartily.
Garnet walks forward and stands next to Steven, "Well, I think Isabella and Steven can do it." She looks over at the two.
Steven looks back up at Garnet with a worried expression while Isabella just smiles.
Isabella's phone buzzes, making her look at it before jumping up, "Gotta go!"
"Where you going?" Steven asked.
