The Gems and Isabella look down from a small cliff at a moss-covered swamp.
Steven is hopping around the dead logs on the swamp.
"This doesn't look good at all." Pearl comments before the Gems look over to Steven.
Steven jumps on the rocks and reaches to touch the moss, "Whoa! Cool!"
"No, Steven! Don't go near that stuff!"
"No, Steven, wait--"
"Bro!"
Garnet throws a boulder at the rock and catapults Steven into the air.
"Whoa!" Steven yells before landing in his sister's arms, "Steven's here!"
"Don't do that, bro." Isabella sets him down.
"You have to be careful, Steven!" Pearl told him.
"Why?" Steven asks.
His question is answered when a duck lands on a log near the moss. The moss swallows the log and the duck quickly flies away.
"What is that stuff?" Steven asks.
"It's the moss that Rose Quartz raised on the hill." Garnet told him.
"Our mom planted that?" Isabella asks.
"She used to climb that hill every spring and tend to the moss at the top." Pearl projects a hologram of Rose Quartz at the top of the hill before making it disappear, "But now that Rose is... gone, the moss is on the move!"
"It's lost." Steven looked sad.
"Aww." Isabella awwed slightly.
"It's not lost. It's gross." Amethyst comments.
"Yes, but Rose loved it anyway. She saw the beauty in everything, no matter how gross." Pearl waves her hair, "Fortunately, I know just what to do in this situation."
Later...
Pearl stands in front of the other Gems, who are sitting behind her. She smiles, opens her eyes, jumps into the air, spins around, and strikes a pose, "Twooooh!" she does a dance and her gem activates, "Haaaaaah!"
"This is why we get up in the morning!" Steven whispers to Amethyst.
A glowing, white blob falls out of her gem and into Isabella's hands, becoming a roll of police tape.
"Police tape?" Isabella wonders.
"Isn't this great? This way, we don't even have to use magic. Humans will just see this and walk away." Pearl says.
Garnet slams her fist into her hand like a baseball mitt, "Don't hold back." she told Amethyst.
"I never... do!" she throws the tape to Garnet.
The Gems put the tape all around the entrance of the swamp.
"La la-la la-la..." Pearl ties the police tape into a bow, "Perfect! Now we can come up with a plan to move the moss back to its hill!"
