Chapter 1: Application

I am Claire Diaz and this is the story of my life..

My sister and I suffered when our parents died. They both died because of an airplane crash. We tried to save our family business but hindi ko kinaya dahil wala akong alam sa  pagpapatakbo nito.

I am currently looking for a job, kahit anong trabaho papasukin ko na dahil ako ang nagpapaaral sa kapatid ko, si Celine.

Celine is a 4th year college student. She said that she wanted to help me working pero I refused. Gusto ko siya pag aralin at pag tapusin ng pag aaral.

We lost everything, including our cars and family properties. We need to sold it because na bankrupt nga kami. Ang mga pinagbentahan naman nito ay ipinambayad namin sa utang ng kompanya.

Simula nang mamatay ang parents namin, ako na ang tumayo bilang ama, ina at kapatid kay Celine.

"Ate may opening daw for secretary ang FAAM Group of Companies, I think you should try to apply" Celine said while we are eating

"Really? Ok I'll check nalang later kung ano ang mga requirements" I smiled at her and continue eating

While eating, we heard a knock from our front door. Celine insist to open it.

"Ate Myrna? Ano po kailangan niyo?" I heard Celine asking Ate Myrna

Ate Myrna is the owner of the apartment where we lived.

"Di pa kayo nagbabayad ng renta, dalawang buwan na" she said with her calm voice, I know nagtitimmpi lang siya

"Sorry po, huwag po kayong mag alala magbabayad po kami sa katapusan" tugon ni Celine

"Katapusan? Ng Mundo? Kapag Hindi pa kayo nagbayad sa katapusan makakalis na kayo!" singhal ni Ate Myrna

"Pasensiya na po talaga" nakayukong usal ni Celine

I really need to find a job na talaga, kung hindi wala kaming matutuluyan ni Celine. I don't want her to suffer, she doesn't deserve to suffer and to feel bad. I will do anything, everything for her.

After eating our lunch, I opened my laptop to check the requirements needed in application for secretary in FAAM Group of Companies.

Naging kalaban namin sa negosyo ang FAAM Group of Companies, pero hindi nila alam na anak ako ng may ari ng kalaban nilang kompanya dahil hindi naman ako nakikialam sa mga bagay about sa company namin. Besides, wala na rin naman yung negosyo namin kaya nag lakas loob ako na mag apply for secretary.

I emailed them my application letter together with the requirements. They messaged me back and said na tatawag nalang daw sila saakin kung may update na sa application ko.

After 4 days, I received a call from FAAM Group of Companies

"Hello? Is this Ms. Claire Diaz?" tanong ng nasa kabilang linya

"Yes, how may I help you?" usal ko

"This is Nicole Lopez po from FAAM Group of Companies, we just want to inform you na natanggap na po kayo bilang secretary, pwede po ba pumunta kayo dito ASAP? Need na po kasi ni Sir ng bagong secretary" she explained

"Thank you! Of course I'll be there within 1 hour" I ended the call smiling

I took a bath and wore a decent usual secretary outfit.

"Saan ka pupunta ate?" Celine asked while I'm fixing my hair in front of the mirror, I tied my hair into ponytail

"Natanggap na ako sa trabaho!" I said excitedly

"Really!? Congrats Ate!" she said and hugged me and I hugged her back

"Thank you Cel!" I said

"Pero Ate ang bilis naman ata, like parang wala masyadong interview na naganap" asik niya at humiwalay sa yakap

"Oo nga eh pero at least may trabaho na ako!" masaya kong tugon

"Sige na aalis na ako ah" I hugged and kissed her

"Ingat ka Ate! Good luck!" Celine said as I exit our apartment, I waved my hands and give my sister a flying kiss
