I woke up with a slight headache. Nasa isang kwarto ako at sa palagay ko ay ospital pa rin ito.

"Hmm" I groaned

"You're awake! Ayos ka lang ba?" nakangiting tanong ni Sandro

"Headache" minamalat na sagot ko "Where's Ara? May kasama ba siya? What happened to me?" I asked

"Shhh... you're both fine" happiness is evident on his face

"Both?" I asked curiously

Lumapit siya saakin at niyakap ako.

What's happening?

"Thank you, Claire. Thank you so much" he whispered

I pushed him slightly "H-huh? For what?"

"You are pregnant, wooh!" natatawa at naluluha niyang sambit

I'm pregnant? Seryoso ba?

Napatingin at hawak naman ako sa tiyan ko na walang umbok. It's impossible na one month lang dahil naghiwalay kami ni Sandro almost two months ago.

"Uh..uhmm-"

"10 weeks. You're pregnant before pa tayo maghiwalay" he smiled

So, a month na rin akong buntis nung maghiwalay kami ni Sandro? Bakit hindi ko alam? Bakit ngayon lang at walang umbok ang tiyan ko?

"Hey, kung ano man ang iniisip mo please don't worry about it. Hindi ko kayo pababayaan huh? Don't stress yourself too much, it may affect our baby" he emphasized the word 'our'

Magsasalita na sana ako nang biglang pumasok ang doctor.

"Hi, Ms. Diaz... it's nice to see you again. Last na visit mo saakin ay ang huling check up mo nung nanganak ka sa first baby niyo" she smiled

"Dra., How's our baby?" Sandro asked

Until now, hindi pa rin nag si-sink in na I'm pregnant. Paano ang set up namin ngayon?

"The baby's fine. She or he's healthy naman. Mommy, you need to avoid stress and doing heavy activities." sagot ng obgyne ko

She's my obgyne nung buntis ako kay Ara.

"And...I will prescribe you some vitamins and it's nice if you will drink some milk before going to bed. Normal lang din na hindi pa gaano kalaki ang tiyan mo kahit 3 months pregnant ka na, may mga ganyan talagang cases. Yung iba nga 4 or 5 months lang lumalabas yung umbok ng tiyan kaya don't worry" dagdag pa niya

"Do you want to see your baby? We can perform an ultrasound and hear your baby's heartbeat" she suggested

"We would love to" I softly smile

"Okay, just wait here. I'll just call my assistant" sabi niya atsaka lumabas ng room

"You hear that?" we nodded as a response

Our baby's heartbeat...

Another baby...

Addition to our family...

"And that's your baby" the doctor pointed where my baby is

He or she's small pa pero may heartbeat na, and that is important.

"Gusto niyo ng copy ng ultrasound?" my ob asked and I nodded

The check up lasts for about 15 minutes. After my first check up, agad kaming bumalik sa kwarto ni Ara.

"Mommy ko!" Ara's eyes widened as we enter the room

Lumapit ako sakanya at hinalikan ang noo niya "Ayos ka lang?" tanong ko

"Yes po. How about you po?....Mommy, are you sick" she asked worriedly

"No, anak. I'm not sick, pero I have a good news!" I pinched her cheeks

"Aw! What is it?" daing niya habang sapo ang pisngi

Magsasalita na sana ako nang hawakan ni Sandro ang balikat ko "Ako na" he whispered

"Ara..." lumapit siya kay Ara at tinabihan "Mommy's pregnant..you are going to have a baby brother or sister" Sandro announced

"Really?!" Ara's lips formed an O

"Yes!"

Inabot niya ako at niyakap. Hinalikan ko naman siya sa buhok at niyakap siya pabalik.

"Congrats Ma'am" bati ni Nurse Candice

"Thank you"

Ngayon, kailangan pa namin pag usapan ni Sandro kung ano ang gagawin naming set up.

Napatawad ko man siya pero hindi ibig sabihin na papayag ako na magsama kami ulit sa bahay.

Nagsinungaling pa rin siya at nasaktan ako dun.

Kailangan ko ng sapat na oras. Yung kami muna ng mga anak ko.
