ACER'S POV

Days has been passed after what happened on the hospital, I talk to Amandine and told her that I am now willing to give her my surname. She was happy but I make sure that I clear to her the only thing that I can give her and that's just my surname, nothing more and nothing less. But, I think it's fine to her because she agreed with it. But as what I've said to myself, I'm gonna try my best to make our relationship work if ever that wedding would come true.

But even I already plan to marry Amandine, I can't still sign the annulment paper that Amary gave me for our marriage. I can't still lose her, I don't know why but every time I saw our annulment paper, I always got irritated and leave that paper to cool down first, because I really wanted to torn it out into small pieces, that's why until now, the paper is still clean.

At kahit isang buwan na ang nakakalipas, I can't still signed it. Like as if it was really hard thing for me, like I am a fucking business man and I always do signing paper but why is it so hard to sign this kind of paper?

He cheated on me but... I still can't lose her.

Pero siguro kailangan ko na nga talagang permahan ang papel na 'yon para matapos na ang lahat ng kabaliwang ito. At gagawin ko 'yon after ng birthday ko. What a gift for myself, right?

"Come in," I heard someone knocking at my door and it's Neil or should I say 'Pako'.

"You want to talk to me?" He formally said as if there's none something happened.

"Yes, take a sit if you want," we just talking professionally but there's coldness at our voice and to our emotions also.

"What is it?"

"On Saturday is my birthday. I just want to invite you together with my wif-- I mean with Amary," he frowned after hearing what I said.

"Why?"

"Because everyone knows that she's still my wife. Don't worry, I won't do things that could harm her there, because you are also there so you can quarantine it,"

I'm sure that he already know what happened on hospital because he didn't go at to my office just like what he always do every time that he want to hang out with me and every time that we haven't seen for a long day.

"Pero bakit mo pa rin siya papupuntahin sa birthday celebration mo. You celebrate your birthday before even without her beside you,"

"Because I want to let other people saw that we are fine, dahil sa susunod na buwan pagkatapos ng birthday ko ay ibabalita kong hiwalay na kami ni Amary. Gusto kong maniwala sila kapag sinabi kong maayos ang pakikipaghiwalay namin at parehas namin 'yong gusto. Ayaw ko na ng issue kaya mas ok kung pupunta kayo sa celebration ko, after that I will signed our annulment paper,"

"So you still didn't sign it, huh?" I got frown when I heard that there's a teasing tone on his voice when he said that "fine, we will go there. Pero ibig sabihin ba nang sinabi mo ay need niya pa ring magpanggap na asawa ka niya, I mean na maayos pa rin ang relasyon ninyong dalawa?"

"Yep, just for that evening," sabi ko dito at tumango naman ito bago ito tumayo.

"That's it?" He ask me and I just nodded before giving him a two pieces of invitation card.

I just look at him when he walks towards the door of my office until he completely gone. I expected him to say anything but it looks like he doesn't have a plan to explain anything to me and felt sorry from what they've done behind my back. But no, he's just silent as if he didn't do anything bad to me.

I honestly wanted to punch his face, but thankfully because my parents thought me Professionalism and self control.

It's still 4pm at hindi pa dapat ako uuwi but I am now driving but my way is opposite to my house. Para akong lutang kung magdrive dahil di ko nalang napansin na na'ndito na pala ako sa pupuntahan ko. Na'ndito ako ngayon sa lugar kung sa'n kami pumunta ni Amary, isa iyong parang abundant tunnel na di ganoon kahabaan.
