Crazy stupid love

Chapter 9

After school I go up to my room and started my homework. 20 minutes into doing my homework I get a text from Luke.

~Text convo~

Luke: hey Sydney its Luke.

Me: hey what's up?

Luke: just doing homework but I'm kinda having trouble with that essay we have to do for English.

Me: oh well if you want you can come over my house and I can help you while you help me with this trig. Lol.

Luke: that would be awesome I'm really struggling :P

Me: I'll see you soon then?

Luke: yeah I'll be there in 20 minutes.

I put my phone down and started doing my homework once again.

20 minutes later Sky walks in and says that there is some guy asking for me. I stop what I'm doing and walk downstairs.

"Hey, ready to study?" Luke says with a smile. "Yeah, lets go upstairs." I smile back at him.

Sabrina grabs my arm and whispers in my ear. "What a nice way to study."

"He's just a friend."

"Yeah, a hot friend." she winks. I shake my head and we go upstairs.

We take out our books and he helps me with my math homework. as examples he used skateboarding so it kinda helped. Now it was my turn to help him. The essay was about Romeo and Juliet.

"Ok, so have you read Rome and Juliet at all?" I asked him kinda already knowing the answer.

"To be completely honest with you no, the only thing I know is that Romeo killed himself because he thought Juliet was dead but she wasn't Actually she just drank something that stopped her heart for a few hours."

"For a guy who hasn't read the story you sure know how they died." I laugh.

"That's because I saw the play with my sister a few years ago." He says grabbing a loose lock of my hair and pushing it behind my ear.

"Well then just write about how they died and I'm sure you will get an A on it." I say softly.

"Of course I'll get an A, your the one helping me." He smiles leaning closer to my face.

"Uh thanks you're sweet, you get started on that, I'll be right back. do you want anything to drink?" I asked.

"uh no I'm good, thanks." I walk out of my room and go downstairs to get some water. as I was walk to the kitchen someone grabs my arm stopping me from moving any farther.

"Syd, can I talk to you?" Ross asks.

"how did you get in here?." I say without looking at him.

"Shawn invited me to hang out. I'm sorry about the kiss last week, I wasn't thinking and I know I screwed up, you probably don't even want to talk to me anymore but, can we try and be friends like when we were little?" he asks pulling his hair back, away from his forehead.

"I forgive you, I wasn't thinking either and I'm sorry I've been ignoring you. I would love to be friends again." I say clutching the necklace he gave me.

"Thank you, I love you so much." He hugs me. "I love you too ross." I hug him back. "I better go I'll text you or go over later."

"Okay." he hugs me once again and I go back upstairs. I finished helping Luke with his essay and then he got a call from his mom saying he needed to come back home.

"Bye Sydney, I'll See you tomorrow." He says hugging me. "Yeah I'll see you tomorrow, thanks for helping me with my math."

"Thank you for helping me with that essay." He walks to his car, I waved goodbye and go back inside.
