Chapter 34

Ah today is the day. The last day of school and the beginning of summer. Since it's the last day of school today I decided to skateboard to school. So I can enjoy the nice feeling of not having school for the next 3 months.

I get ready for school putting on black skinny jeans black converse and a sleeveless superman shirt. I picked up my book bag and skateboard and left for school.

Besides my siblings and the lynches I don't have a lot of friends in school just people I talk to while walking from class to class. When I finally got to school I met up with one of those friends.

Her name is Casey. She's super sweet, she was also really close friends with Luke and I think they still talk.

"Hey Sydney, are you ready for summer?" She asked.

"Yes you don't know how long I have been waiting for this. Now I have more time to hang out with my friends and I don't have to worry about homework or school." I say with a sigh of relief while I put my things in my locker.

"True, hey do you think you can get your brother Shawn to like talk to me?" She asks shyly.

"I could try. I mean he's stuck on a family friend of ours but I can mention you around." I smile at her.

"Omg thank you so much. I've been trying to talk to him but he's always around you guys and I feel like it's just awkward."

"It's fine. I think you'll do him good he needs someone to distract him." She giggle and we walk to class.

After dealing with teachers talking about senior year and how you have to focus on getting into a good college it's finally the end of the day.

"Hey Sydney give me a call during the summer so we can hang out!" Casey said cheerfully.

"Yes of course. I gotta go though but I'll text you." I waved at her and skated towards my house.

Once I got home I went to my room and got changed into my striped yellow and gray bikini, I grabbed a towel and flip flops and headed downstairs to the pool for a swim.

As I was putting my stuff down on the chair my phone started ringing. I look at it and Ross was calling.

Sydney: hey Ross. What's up?

Ross: hey beautiful. I was wondering if you were home yet so we can hang out.

Sydney: yeah I am. bring your swim suit too so we can chill outside and get in the pool.

Ross: alright I'll see you in five. I love you.

Sydney: I love you too. Bye.

I hung up the phone putting it on the chair and went in to the pool and started swimming. After a while I felt strong arms wrap around my waist. I looked up at who it is and immediately smiled.

"Hi gorgeous." He smiled pecking me on the lips.

"Hello handsome." I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Got some news."he said excitedly

"What is it?" I asked Giggling as I played with his hair.

"r5 is going on tour for 3 months and I was wondering if you would like to come with us. Our manager is allowing you guys to come with and I would love it if you were there." He said with hope in his eyes.

"I'd love too." I looked at him and he looked so happy. "But I can't, I'm sorry I start work next week and I kind of need the money." I frowned and he did the same. I hope he understands and doesn't get mad at me.

"oh I see. If you are free you'll come to our shows though right?" He said, again hope evident in his eyes.

"Yes of course. I'm sorry I can't go. I'll miss you."

"it's ok I understand. I'll miss you a lot though." He creased my cheeks and kissed my lips. They'll basically be gone for the whole summer. I guess I'll have to entertain myself for 3 months.
