Crazy stupid love

Chapter 74

"Hey Syd I bumped into the mail man and he gave me this letter for you." Luke says coming in from picking up Andrew from daycare.

"I'll be right there." I say tying my hair and walking into the living room.

"Hi bud. How was daycare?" I ask my son ruffling his hair. "Thanks for getting Andrew from school babe." I tell Luke and give him a small smile.

"No need to thank me. This is for you by he way." He hands me the letter I got in the mail.

"Thanks." I say sitting on the couch and opening it. "WHAT IN THE WORLD?!" I yell after reading the letter. It was from Ross lawyer saying Ross wants my sons custody.

I quickly grab my phone and lock myself in my room. I dial his number angrily and wait for him to answer.

~phone convo~

Ross: hello?

Sydney: what the hell is wrong with you? I thought we came to an agreement.

Ross: we did but I want my son with me now.

Sydney: are you out of your mind?!

Ross: no I just want us to be a family. Is that to much to ask?!

Sydney: no Ross it's not so much to ask. You just cant make me happy, I thought you understood that.

Ross: I don't understand why you won't give me a chance to prove you wrong.

Sydney: because I gave you more than enough chances and you blew them all. Look I love you but sometimes love is so strong it hurts more than it can heal. Think about what you're doing before going any further, please. I'll let you have as much time with Andrew as possible just give me a few months.

I hang up the phone and lay on my bed sighing. This can't be happening to me. After calming down a bit I walk back to the living room and hung out with my son, my boyfriend and my dog.

~5 months later~ (again sorry for all the time lapses)

Today I graduated college. Now I'm having dinner with my family and like I promised Ross I'm moving back to LA next week.

After our fight over the custody of Andrew he dropped the order and helped me find a house close to my family and his.

He came to visit a few months ago and him and Andrew got even closer.

~a week later~

"Dad!!" Andrew says running towards Ross when he sees him waiting for us. "Hey bud!" He picks him up and ruffles his hair. "Hey syd." He smiles at me and I smile back waving.

We got into his car and drove off to my new house.

"Hey Andrew Im going grocery shopping. be good with your dad, okay?" I yell out for Andrew to hear.

"Ok mommy." He yells back. Ross was showing him his new room and Andrew was pretty excited. I grabbed my keys but as I was leaving I remembered that I don't have a car yet, it's still in New York.

I ran up the stairs and towards Andrews room. "Hey Ross can I borrow your car?" I ask him and he nods. "Yeah sure. Here." He hands me the keys and I smile. "Thanks." I walk out of the room and back out to Ross car.

~Ross pov~

"Dad why are you and mommy not together?" My son asks out of the blue as we are playing with his toys.

"I got in a lot of trouble with mommy in the past so we are taking a time out because she doesn't trust me enough to be with me." I tell him a sad tone evident in my voice.

"I wish you and mommy were married so we can be all together." He says and felt like crying he wants the same thing I do. "I know bud, me too." I say hugging him tightly.
