Chapter 12

I walk into my house with a huge smile on my face. I walk up to my room and lay down on my bed.

Suddenly I hear the door open and close.

"what has you all smiling? Did Luke finally ask you out?" Sky asks while being followed by Sabrina.

"No, why would he do that?" I ask her confused. "Because he's like super into you. you can see it when he looks at you, it's super obvious."

"you're joking, no he's not we're just really good friends besides we just met." I say. "And in love with Ross." Sabrina adds rolling her eyes playfully.

"What?? no I'm not." I say denying it. "Oh don't play stupid. I saw what happened down stairs, he kissed you and you didn't hesitate to kiss him back." Sabrina says making a face. "That was just an accident."

"An accident you didn't mind happening." she says and walks away laughing as I rolled my eyes.

Suddenly my phone rang alerting me that I had a message.

~Text convo~

Luke: hey Sydney I've been meaning to ask you something, can I stop by your house?

Me: yeah sure but um is it good or bad.

Luke: depends on what your answer is.

Me: ok, I'll see you in a little bit.

Luke: I'll be there in 15.

~end of text convo~

"Sabrina, Sky come over here." I yell for them.

"What's wrong?" They both ask in sync. "Luke just texted me saying that he has to ask me something. he'll be here in 15."

"Oh my god, he is totally asking you out." Sky points out like its totally obvious. "What? no he's not. he probably has a homework question."

"Dude are you serious?! if it was just a question he wouldn't come all the way over here to ask it." Sky says.

"But I don't like him like that." I say pulling at my roots. "Then tell him." she says in a duh tone.

Right then I hear the doorbell ring and someone answering it. Soon after Shawn comes up to my room."hey syd some dude is looking for you."

"Okay." I say looking at my sisters and walking out of my room and downstairs.

"Hey Luke, what was it you wanted to ask me?" I say hugging him. "Can we go outside to talk?" He says scratching the back of his head.

"Um yeah sure." We walk outside and sit on the stairs. "So what did you want to ask me?"

"Um well since I met you I felt something special. you're just so different from other girls. so I was wondering if you would like to maybe go out sometime?"
