Chapter 37

When we arrived at the airport I gave everyone a huge and casual hi to Ross. We all piled up into the car and headed home. When we got to the house we all went into mine and started hanging out. I was fine talking to the girls until Shawn and Ross left the room.

~Shawn's pov~

I could see the pain in Sydney's eyes as she said her casual hi to Ross. When we got home we all started hanging out but I needed to have a serious conversation with someone.

"Ross can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked nicely.

"Yeah sure man what's up?" We walked outside.

"So where's your girlfriend? I thought she'd be with you." I ask him about the girl he cheated on my sister with.

"What are you talking about? Syd and I broke up I don't have one." He says confused. I slammed him into the wall already angry.

"Why the fuck did you break my little sisters heart?" I said angrily.

"I think that's a conversation I should have with her." He said with an attitude. I'm done, I punched him on the nose. "I'm going to say this again why did you break her heart? Why did you cheat on my sister?" I raised my voice and punch his nose again.

"Because I was mad, okay?! I was mad that she wasn't going to come on tour with me because I didn't want to miss her but in the end I just ended up hurting her and I hate myself for doing that." He says holding his probably broken nose.

What he just said made me angrier with him. "You had no reason to do that to her asshole. Do you know what you did to her?" I slammed him to the wall. "I trusted you with the most important person in my life and you hurt her."I let go of him taking a deep breath and sat on the small staircase.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." He said sitting next to me.

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." I say as he nods and walks away.

~Ross pov~

I went back into the house and everyone stared at me.

"Ross what happened to you?" Sabrina says covering her mouth at the sight of my nose.

"Nothing, I'm fine." I looked at Sydney and her eyes were wide.

I went to the bathroom and tried to stop the bleeding. Suddenly I heard a faint knock on the door. I opened it and to my surprise Sydney was standing on the other side.

"Hey." She said a small smile evident on her beautiful face.

"If you're here to make me feel like shit don't bother cause I already do." I sigh and pulled at my roots.

"No, I'm not here for that, I'm kinda over it. I mean, it still hurts like crap but I'll be okay. I'm actually here to see if you're okay. I saw what happened through the window." She looked at me with sadness in her eyes. "Sorry about my brother he's a little to over protective. Are you ok?"

"I'm pretty sure he broke my nose but I guess I deserve it. I'm so stupid for letting you go. I'm really sorry Sydney, I know I don't deserve your apology but I just need to let you know." I sighed and looked at her straight in the eye. "I should probably get some ice. Do you have any?"

"Yeah follow me." She walked into the kitchen and I followed behind.

"here." She said and put the ice pack on my nose and held my cheek creasing it with her other hand. I looked at her and smiled at her.

"S-Sorry. Um just hold it there for a little while and it'll heal quickly." She said moving her hand away and looking down at her feet then walked away.
