Crazy stupid love

Chapter 58

After Ross and my small discussion all three of us decide to go out for the night. We got in my car and decided to just cruse around the streets of New York.

We were having a blast listening to music, talking, laughing when suddenly a car came swerving towards us and everything went dark.

~Marie Cortez pov~ (Sydney's mom)

I was in my house cooking dinner when I received a phone call from a number in New York.

~phone call~

Marie: hello?

?: hello is this Sydney Cortez mother?

Marie: yes who is this?

Hospital: we are calling from the local hospital because there was an accident involving your daughter and 2 other guys that were in the car with her.

Marie: omg is my daughter ok?!

Hospital: she is still unconscious ma'am.

Marie: let me know if  anything happens please.

I hung up the phone and bursted out into tears. Seconds later Shawn came in the room with a worried look on his face. "Are you ok mom?"

"Your sister got in a car accident and is in then hospital." I tell him and his eyes widen.

"we have to go!" He says and I nod calming myself a little and packing some clothes. I tell Shawn to tell the rest of the family what happened and to meet in the car in an hour.

Shortly after we were all headed to the airport. We got our tickets and got on the plane. The whole flight there I couldn't stop crying I hope my baby is ok.

As soon as we landed we went straight to the hospital. "What happened to my daughter? How is she?" I asked the nurse behind the register. "Ma'am calm down, please. What's your daughters name?"

"Sydney, Sydney Cortez." I say in a hurry. "Room 249." Shes says not taking her eyes off the computer. We all hurry to the room just to find Sydney laying cold on the bed.

"Omg, Sydney." I cried running toward her. Soon after the doctor came in the room. "hello I'm Dr.Martinez."

"What happened to my daughter and the 2 boys." My husband asked referring to ross and rocky.

"A car hit them at a red light  The man in the other car was drunk and hit the three kids." He says looking at the clipboard in his hand. "Do you know when they'll wake up?" I asked wanting my daughter to wake up and tell me everything is fine. "I'm sorry ma'am I don't know." He says and walk out.

~a week later~

There's still no news about the kids and I'm getting scared. The lynches came the next day right after us and we've been in the hospital ever since.

I was about to go in and see Sydney when the doctor came out. "I've got some good news. The 2 boys woke up and they are looking very stable." All the lynches cheered and I was happy that the boys woke up but what about my daughter.

"What about my daughter how is she?!" I ask the doctor. "I'm sorry ma'am she hasn't woken up and we can't run any tests until she wakes up." He says simply and walks away.

~Ross pov~

I woke up with no clue where I was. I looked around and see a nurse changing my iv. "Can I go see my girlfriend?!"

I could see the look on his face, he didn't want to but sighed. "Yes you may. She is right next door." I carefully stand up from the bed and walk next door. The love of my life was laying cold on the uncomfortable hospital bed.

"Hey babe. Rocky and I woke up. A few minutes ago. We are good but you my darling need to wake up. What am I going to do with my life if you don't. You are stronger than you think." I grab her hand and bring it up to my lips. "I'll be waiting take all the time you need. I love you." I kiss her knuckles. I stayed a little while longer until the nurses came in and told Me I had to leave.
