Surprisingly, for the first time since I've come to the SSCC, my parents did not show up for visitors day. Even when they had work, they had always made time.

Visitors day was weird. It was insanely early into the camp's runtime, serving as a day for any teens who had changed their minds to leave. I would have totally left already if not for Byounggon and the fact that my parents didn't show up at all.

Byounggon's didn't show up either, as expected, so we sat next to each other on the large logs surrounding the unlit campfire and sort of existed together. We switched between talking and just sitting next to each other. Even though it had only been two weeks, Byounggon was extremely comfortable to be around. It was peaceful.

Well, it was until Soobin showed up, eyes narrowed at me and a teasing smirk on his face. Whatever he was about to say was going to offend me. "Mr. Lee wants to see you at the start of the woods trail. Or should I say Seojun? That's what you call him, right?"

I stood up. "No, I just call him Mr. Lee."

"So he's into that?"

"Soobin, you have the story completely wrong. We're not like that."

"Then what?"

Soobin crossed his arms, watching me fumble. I couldn't just tell him. That was way too personal, and I doubted he'd be able to guess if I didn't say anything.

"Nothing to say?"

"I guess not."

As I walked away, I looked back at Byounggon, who's eyes were wide as though he was trying to ask me ask me what Soobin meant. I hoped my expression told him that I'd tell him later (which was a lie), but he might not have caught it when Soobin started dragging him to the small area in which the visiting was happening.

Far away from the camp. And even farther from the woods trail.

I sighed, walking towards the trail. I knew the way there like the back of my hand, yet I still tried to take my time while I walked. When I arrived, Seojun was leaning against the trail sign, and he quickly dragged me into the woods, a little farther, before he stopped.

"Why did you want to see me, Mr. Lee?" I asked innocently, trying to avoid gritting my teeth.

"You took so long to get here." Seojun had me pressed against a tree, which I didn't exactly appreciate. "What's the deal?"

"I got lost."

"You've been here for years. You did not get lost."

"You don't know how long I've been here?"

Seojun licked his lips, a gesture I found repulsing. "All I know is that I waited far too long to get what I wanted from you."

God, he disgusted me. What a dick. "Why did my parents not show up?"

"Oh, that was all me. I sent them a special letter to let them know that visitors day was cancelled. It was a bit of a lie, of course, but I can't risk you getting away from me, can I?"

Oh no. This wasn't going where I thought it would, was it? I turned away, but Seojun grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. Everything from last year was flashing into my mind again.

"Woah, there." Seojun unbuttoned the stupid satchel that he always had around his waist, showcasing the knife that he had with him. "You know what happens to naughty boys, right?"

I nodded on autopilot. He raped me multiple times last year, and when I didn't behave like the perfect angel that he wanted me to, he would use the knife on me. He didn't do much damage, only to my wrists, but he would leave me to bleed out even if we were in the middle of things. I didn't want that to happen again.

"Good." Seojun pressed a kiss to my neck, and it took all of my willpower to not pull away. I found out the hard way that the less resistance, the faster it would end.
