Byounggon's hand brushed against mine every so often as we waited to depart for our hiking trip. I could tell that he wanted to hold it, as did I, but there were too many people around, not to mention that we didn't exactly know what they thought.

"Here."

I turned my head to see Yonghee holding out my flashlight. I took it from him, about to thank him, but then he executed a complete 180 to face... Hyun-something. I didn't remember.

"Have you seen Jinyoung?" The guy asked.

"I thought he was with you?" Yonghee replied.

"I thought he was with you. He left the cabin yesterday during the night, and I haven't seen him since." This was when the other boy noticed me and Byounggon. "Um, hey."

"Oh, right. Kim Seunghun, Lee Byounggon, Yoon Hyunsuk." Yonghee introduced us all very quickly, stopping what he was saying as Seojun spoke up. I kinda wished he kept going, because even hearing the camp leader's voice made me want to clock him in the head. That would just mess him up further, wouldn't it?

It took a while for us to start walking, but Yonghee picked up his conversation with Hyunsuk again once we were on the trail. "He probably has his own stuff to take care of. As do I."

From there, I basically zoned out on what the two were talking about. They were looking for someone, right? "Wait, who are you guys looking for again?"

"Bae Jinyoung," Yonghee replied. "Know him?"

I shot Byounggon a glance. He didn't know either, so I shrugged. "Not really. I've seen him around once or twice, probably."

Yonghee and Hyunsuk's conversation died down there, and we just continued to walk down the trail. I noticed that, after a while, Seojun left Jungwon to lead the group so that he could fall back. I didn't want to even look at him, because then we'd meet eyes, so I made sure to investigate everything outside. Wow, is that another tree? Who would've thought?

We arrived back at the camp, and Yonghee and Hyunsuk bid us a quick goodbye before heading over to their cabin. Byounggon and I walked over to our tent, finding out that a note was taped to the tarp.

Byounggon reached out for it, opening the letter as he slipped inside the tent. "Oh, it's from Jinyoung."

"I thought you said you didn't know him." I followed behind him, closing the flaps behind me.

"Well, more or less." Byounggon skimmed the note. "He wants to host a meeting via our tent."

"So that's just... going to happen?" I drummed my fingers on my sleeping bag. "I was hoping we could be alone tonight."

Byounggon's mouth pressed into a thin line, but he pulled me closer to peck me on the lips. My heart fluttered. "It's fine. We can figure this whole thing out later."

I reached down to interlock our fingers. I still hadn't met Jinyoung, so I wondered what he had to share with us.
