It seemed, however, that the only thing Hyunsuk had been able to wrap his head around with the whole situation was that Lee Seojun was dead. Jinyoung was sure that if Hyunsuk had been standing, he'd be pacing the room.
"Let's look at the facts here," Jaeseok said as their drove down the highway. "Obviously, the rest of those campers are going to find Seojun's body in his tent at some point or another. The other thing they'll notice is that the five of you are missing. I doubt they're smart enough to put two and two together."
"Obviously," Yonghee repeated. "So what'll become of us, then?"
"The best they can do is call the police and give them descriptions of all of you. The good news is that since all of you are underage, you should stay hidden to the public eye."
"Unless they think we're threats, right?" Byounggon asked.
Jaeseok hummed. "Well, none of you have any... recorded track record of crimes, so likely not. And they can't pinpoint who exactly committed the murder." He glanced at Jinyoung. "You might want to look into dyeing your hair again. All in all, I'd say you have about... five? Five days of guarenteed safety, even from the police. After all, they'd need to gather information from all of the campers."
"...We'll be alright?"
It was the first time Seunghun had spoken since they had exited the camp leader's tent, his voice timid and small, especially from the backseat. This probably meant more to him than it did to Jinyoung—though it scared him ten times as much.
"We will be," Jinyoung answered. "At least, you should be. It was my crime."
The mood was solemn. It took a while before anyone else spoke up, seized by Byounggon. "Where are we going?"
"My place first," Jaeseok answered. "I can't keep you there forever, even if I wanted to. Once they figure out Jinyoung's involved, they're going to be here immediately."
"Right."
Jaeseok gripped the steering wheel tightly. "You guys should come up with a name," he decided. "Think of something."
"Why?" Seunghun asked.
Jaeseok shrugged. "Gets you thinking about something else."
"Right."
Yonghee hummed. "There's too many of us to do something with our names," he voiced. "So maybe something else."
"Groups like..." Hyunsuk trailed off, not wanting to be the one to say it, "...ours are usually named after something that they've done. And, well, we don't know what we've done yet."
"Unknown. We can work with that." Jinyoung tapped the dashboard. "X is unknown, right? We should do something with X."
"X..." Seunghun piped up. "Wait, I really like abbreviations. We should do an abbreviation."
"Something, something, X?" Byounggon proposed.
The car went silent again, but this time for the group to think. "Well..." Jinyoung started. "It's just us five, you know? No offense, Jaeseok."
"None taken."
"But the five of us. We don't have anything in common, and yet we're... together. Complete." Jinyoung paused. "One."
"I like complete, actually," Yonghee replied. "Complete... X..."
"Complete... with? of? in?" Hyunsuk thought out loud.
"Complete In X, exactly." Byounggon leaned forwards in his seat, the pieces coming together at last. "CIX."
