After a few days of evaluation, Jinyiung finally gave a green light for the group to head out. Maybe it was only at night and they couldn't go into the city, but Byounggon enjoyed the freedom. His late night talks with Seunghun became late night walks, the discussion of their current situation always welcome.
"This is really good," Seunghun gushed, crunching on a wrap of some sort. The group did have to eat eventually, and the last time they had was on the train, so this was welcome as something.
Byounggon could get used to this. He could get used to Hyunsuk and Yonghee arguing over who kicked who off the bed (Jinyoung was always the actual culprit) and staring out of the motel window wistfully. The only part of their new life he didn't like was seeing the news articles in the newspaper and knowing that it wouldn't be long before they had to be on the move again. Settling down wasn't going to happen soon.
Yet again, this was the life Byounggon was supposed to have after that camp. The only difference between what his parents wanted by kicking him out was the fact that he had people with him.
His parents were easy to find in the articles. Distasteful about their son that had "turned on all good morals", and maybe that was actually accurate for once.
Byounggon didn't care. He had Seunghun. He had Jinyoung, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk. He had CIX.
