" Thought you had practice?"

" Was, just got back. You look good, where are you off to?"

" The girls and I are going out for drinks."

I placed the tablet on the dresser to make it easier to talk to her while I changed out of my clothes.

" Where to?"

" I think we're going to Goddess."

" Do you need money?"

By now I was butt naked with only a towel wrapped around my waist as I placed the device on the basin. Making sure she could see me, she had this thing about me always being in view during video calls. I smiled at her lustful look as she watched me remove my towel then walking into the shower.

" Zizo!"

" Huh_ I miss you."

She pouted. Her pitiful face always did something to me.

" I miss you too-"

" No you don't understand, I miss you."

" One more day babe and I'll be back on our bed in your arms. Just be ready to try every position there is out there and don't tell me you're tired. I'm not taking any excuses because you're the one sulking right now."

" I'm never tired."

" Says the one who runs everytime I pull out the backpack."

A bright shy smile adorned her dark skin face. I found it cute how shy she became shy I talked about sex even when she was the one who started the topic. I could not help wishing I was with her as I noticed her cheeks grow bigger when she smiled behind the hand on her mouth.

At times I hated how she could never ask me for any kind of help even though she knew how capable I was. Many a times I have had to reassure her that I have her back but she still did not trust that I would never do her like her past girlfriends. She is holding back on fully trusting me and it irks me. Being the understanding partner is quite hard.

" You can do that, money is not an issue for me."

I knew she was just agreeing to please me, she would rather buy something similar to what she wanted and avoid touching my money.

Her ex did a number on her. Got her comfortable in their relationship to the point but then turned around and abused her, in every way possible. She cut her off from her family, friends and financially.

" When last did you go for therapy?"

" Was just there yesterday, why?"

" Just wondering. Any positive feedback?"

" She says I'm making great progress."

It took a lot to get her to go for therapy and talk to a total stranger about her past but after the first visit she has been religiously attending her sessions. It has been a long journey but when she told me about her last relationship, I promised myself to assist in her healing.

" The girls are here-"

She handed the phone over to her and walked away. Which I was glad for because she would not agree to what I have to say.

" Hey, can you please send me the picture of the shoes she wants for the wedding?"

Although were friends because of my relationship with their wives, they knew her history. Hence she immediately sent me the picture then immediately deleted her chat history.
