Ei's POV:
I'd already arrived at Ayaka's place. It was beautiful and cozy, however it was too huge for only one person. I heard a knock on the door and a voice on the other side. It belonged to Ayaka. I went to the front door and unlocked it for her. Ayaka was the one who greeted me... and her brother, whom I am obligated to marry. I was surprised that he is here, I thought he went back to his school. Ayaka gave me a look that Ayato wanted to come.
"Pleasant morning, Mr. Ayato. I apologize for asking your sister some help" I politely said. "Likewise, Ei. It's fine. We're going to help you anyways," he smiled. I invited them inside, of course. We sat at the living room, and the serious talk that I expected, started.
Ayaka informed me about her conversation with her father. I agree with their plan to assist me. However, I am still unsure about mine. I informed them that my father's company would suffer as a result of my absence. He is unable to handle company issues and is unable to attend meetings. My plan is to let our company fail, which will cause my Father to urge me to return. If he can get rid of his stubbornness and that marriage, that means the plan succeeded. He will face the consequences if he does not. I may be harsh, but I need to do this.
"You've really thought this out, Ei, and I wish you all the best," Ayato replied. "Thank you," I replied as I bowed my head slightly, a tiny bow. "I guess we'll just have to wait for our dear Mr. Raiden to call you back," Ayaka chuckled.
"Moving on, have you found who you were looking for? Your mysterious childhood friend?" Ayaka inquired. I paused because I was not....prepared for that discussion. "I... haven't found her yet, but I will soon," I said. "You never know, it may be someone close to you; after all, this is a small world, and you met her here, Inazuma; she could still be here," Ayaka replied. I was perplexed; does she know where that person is? Is she aware of who she is? When I think about it, it's impossible.
"Give her a break, Ayaka," Ayato scolded his sister. "Enough of this nonsense; if you need anything, money or whatever, don't hesitate to ask us; we'll give you what you need," Ayato stated. "Thank you, Ayato; I'll remember that," I answered with a smile. Ayato looked at his wristwatch and rose up, saying that he still has a.. date with his lover. We don't know who that may be, so we didn't press him any more. Ayato has left with Ayaka, leaving me alone in this room.
I messaged Sara about my situation, and she just stated that she will assist me if I need it. What a good feeling to know that I have everyone's support. I haven't told Miko about this. Are we even that close.... Am I that close with her to tell her this things.
I suppose... I'll keep it hidden from her. I just decided to send her a message. I'll be back at school tomorrow. I've already been excused from school for today, so I'll use it as a day of rest. After all, I'm tired of what's occurred.
