CHAPTER 20: Sailing the ships (part 5)

Ei's POV:

The game is still in progress. Kokomi is the one who will spin the bottle. The bottle landed on Ayaka when she spun it.

Ayaka chose truth. "If you could kiss anyone here, who would it be?" Kokomi said. This is, indeed, interesting. Kokomi and Ayaka are good friends, thus they know a lot about one other. "I'd go with... Lumine," Ayaka giggled. I got a glimpse of Lumine.... blush.

Miko laughed loudly and Lumine smacked her. Pft, poor Miko. 

Ayaka then spun the bottle and it landed on Venti. Venti chose truth. 

"Would you do that if Xiao is in danger and the only way to help him is to kiss your best friend?" Ayaka inquired. "Hmm, this is interesting and a little difficult; my answer is... no," Venti replied, while Xiao grinned. "Well, would you explain?" Ayaka asked.

"First and foremost, I am his bestfriend, so I would simply kiss myself and save him," Venti laughed. His response was lovely, and that made Xiao smile even more. "That's sweet," Lumine said as she hugged Miko. She really is... clingy.

Venti then spun the bottle and it landed on.... me. I hesitated to choose between truth or dare. I chose.... truth.

"In this group, if there would be a chance that you will like someone here, who would it be?" Venti asked.

It made me think, and they were looking at me, waiting for my response. I stared at Miko; she was the first person who came to mind, and when I think of the others, it's just Miko that comes to mind. "Miko," I said.

Their jaws dropped, including Miko, who was blushing hard. Others even squealed. Is it that.... surprising? I mean... It's not that I would really like Miko. I merely answered the question. I don't like.... Miko, right?

I spun the bottle and.... it landed on Miko. Great.

Miko chose truth. I... I don't know what to ask her. I can't think of anything.

Think, Ei. Think.

"If I ask you if I can court you, will you allow it?"

Archons, I'm so stupid. Why did I ask her that?! This is... this is getting out of control! A suitor?! Why did I think of that!

"I would," she chuckled.

Did I heard that right? She just said "I would,". Am I hallucinating? If I am please slap me right now.

"Ei is blushing!" Hu Tao said. I didn't even notice it. Why.... Why am I blushing, and why do I feel..happy... but.... Something else is missing. 

What is it, brain. Think of it, please.

A memory flashed across my mind once more. It was a girl... "Ei, if we're all grown up, will you still stay by my side?" the girl said. It was hazy, and all I remember saying to the girl was, "I'd even be your lover."

What was the name of that girl? And why did I say that? Is it possible... related to the accident back then? After that incident, I constantly had the feeling that something was missing, but I ignored it.

Miko then spun the bottle, which landed on Zhongli. Zhongli chose truth, and Miko asked as to whom he was interested in. "Childe," he said. Others were taken aback and gasped. Others sighed in relief when Zhongli stated that he is not romantically interested in him. Zhongli spn uthe bottle, which landed on Itto. Itto picked dare, and Zhongli dared him to hug the cutest person in the room. It was a great sight to see him hug Gorou.

When the game was over, they were all enjoying snacks at the dining table. I'm on Miko's balcony. I need to get some fresh air after that memory. I can't quit thinking about it. My mind was racing with unanswered questions. If I had to question someone about that accident from years ago... It would be my father.

I need to find answers. Should I simply go back to my father? But... I can't. Ayaka's efforts will be in vain, and my father will regain control over me. I should be patient; let's simply ask him whether he's already given up on the idea of my marriage.

A pat on the back interrupted my thoughts. "Do you want some tea and... dango?"

It was Miko. "I do, thank you, Miko," I said as I took the tea and dango from her. "So... what were you thinking about, if I may ask?" she said. "Oh, nothing, just some random stuff from the past," I said as I sipped the tea. "Who made this? It's amazing," I chuckled.

"I'm delighted you like it; I made it," she said, smiling. "Oh, you're great at cooking and even making tea; you're definitely a wife material," I said. "And I'd be delighted to be your wife," she smirked. Oh, flirting, are we?

"Oh, I'm a lucky woman to have such a lovely wife," I laughed. "Where did you learn to flirt back?" she chuckled.

"No one," I said, smiling. "I see, so... what about your past?" she inquired. "I'd rather not talk about it since it will ruin the mood," I chuckled. "Mhm, okay, so... the dango... do you like it?" she said.

"I love it! It fills my tongue with various flavors," I said as I ate the dango. "I'm pleased you like it; I made it especially for you after hearing from Ayaka that you like dango," she said. "Oh, so I'm special?" I asked. "Hmm.... maybe?" she chuckled.

I couldn't help but laugh. It was a pleasure speaking with her... and it put me at peace. I stopped thinking about such things, and it seemed like just chatting to her solved my problems.

"How about you? What are your favorites?" I inquired. "Hmm.... fried tofu," she said with a smile. "I see, if I find someone selling it, I'd buy it for you; consider it my payment for making these delicious dango," I said. "I'll be waiting for your treat, Ei," she said with a smile.

"So... you guys hate Childe, right?" I said. "Hmm, we just kind of... despise him," she responded. "Does it have anything to do with his rumors?" I inquired. "Yes, plus what he did to Venti," she added. Venti? How is Venti involved with Childe?

I gave her a puzzled look. She told me of what had happened. That bastard.... It angered me. I never imagined he'd do something like that. They were in a relationship... And he'd just do that to Venti? This is unbelievable. I didn't judge based on him at first because of the rumors, and now because of what Miko said. He is unquestionably a fucking bastard.

"You're angry, right? Same, it made me want to cut his dick off," she said. What she said made me choke. C-cut off his d-d-dick?! How could she say that in a straight face?!

"Oh my, I apologize for my words," she replied, caressing my back. "I-alright; it's I was just shocked," I said, still coughing. "He's even interested in me," she scoffed. It made me choke once again. I'm not going to allow him get near to Miko. Never.

"Gosh, Ei, are you okay?" she said again, caressing my back. "I'm good, thank you," I said.

If he dares to do something to Miko. His dearest thing will be gone.

Hello! Is the chapter long? I can't write anymore as I am so sleepy and this past few days I am only getting a few hours of sleep. I would write again tomorrow! 

Should I do other's POV? Or stick with raiden and miko?

Anyways, there will be a few time skips in this story. I would tell it of course if I time skipped. That is all! Once again, good luck with your pulls!
