CHAPTER 24

Miko's POV:

"Good afternoon to you all," he began, winking, "my name is Childe, or call me anything you like, and I am running for student council president." "Well, as Ningguang mentioned, we have just met. However, I am aware that some of you are familiar with me. How can I present myself as a serious individual? What about those who don't know? You'll know because you voted for me to be the president of the student council. I intend to bring our school to the top of all high schools. I assure you that I will steer all students in the right direction. "Choose me as your student council president for the betterment of the school," he said, smiling as the students applauded his speech.

It was quick, as opposed to Ningguang's, and it was evident that other students were dissatisfied with his speech.

"That was amazing! Up next are the two candidates for vice president! Give them a big round of applause!" said the Principal.

Good afternoon. My name is Xingqiu, and I'm here as the runner-up for the student council vice president. This will be my first year as a runner-up in student council, but I have prior experience leading because I work part-time at my father's company.Being a vice president is hard. A lot of events will be coming to the school and we will be the ones who will arrange them, but, no matter how hard it is, no matter how tiring it is, I will do my best for the sake of the students to enjoy the school events and, of course, for the teachers and for the reputation of the school, "he smiled.

I know that these school events are the ones that you are waiting for, so, my ideas are to open up a booth for the students so that they can write their ideas on paper and submit them to the booth. We will only ask students who want to share their ideas, and after that, we will hold a fair and square meeting about it.As for my other ideas, we can host a tutoring session for those students who are having a hard time reviewing for their exams. Of course, it will be free. That is all I can think of right now. If you vote for me as vice president, I will not let you down and I will exceed your expectations of me. Thank you for listening, "he said as he bowed and the students' applause.

"Good afternoon, students and teachers; my name is Jean Gunnhildr, and I'm running for vice president of the student council," she said with a smile. "Before I came here, I was elected vice president of the student council; I believe my experience will help me offer new ideas, but of course, your ideas are welcome to us; and, above all, I believe my most important job will be to listen to you and communicate with you on a regular basis," she smiled.

"This afternoon I am asking for your vote. I have a few ideas of mine that I will share, but of course, you have to show yours too. There will be no bias here. The idea of mine is that every time we have an exam, we will have a break, maybe a week or just a few days. We must take care of your mental health, and we all deeply care about your mental health. We can host a student vs. faculty competition, whether it be a competition in sports, singing, dancing, arts, or everything that you will suggest. Lastly, the competition between classrooms. Each class will decorate their rooms according to their chosen theme. Of course, the teachers will be the judges. This competition between classrooms will make memories for us. We can also have fun with it, and lastly, it can strengthen our bonds as classmates. " 

"Of course, I... no. We welcome all of your ideas for making our school better. The future depends on our ability to work together. Cooperation and teamwork will get us far. If you elect me as your vice president of the student council, I pledge to lead with openness and honesty. I understand that voting for someone requires a great deal of trust and thought. However, I am willing to work hard every day to earn your trust. Together we can achieve great things. Thank you for listening!" she smiled as she bowed and students roared up and applause.

So many were satisfied by her speech, but it will also be hard as both of the candidates speech are amazing. I wonder who will win.

"I can't believe we have students that come up with amazing speeches! And now, moving on to the candidates for the secretary position! " The principal said."

I think... Keqing from Class 1-C is her name, and I met her in middle school, but we aren't close. I mean, I was close to her friend.... I mean, girlfriend. 

"Good afternoon, students, teachers. I will keep this quick. I am Keqing from Class 1-C and I am running for secretary, and let me tell you why you should vote for me. I am dedicated to the student council since middle school. I always attend all the meetings and contribute time and effort to the student council. The secretary has to keep a record of the minutes during meetings, which means they have to write or take notes on what we discussed in the meeting," she said.

"I consider myself to be a team player as well. I am a member of several sports teams and contribute in a variety of ways. I enjoy working with others because it allows me to share and receive ideas. Working together, we can come up with wonderful ideas to help the school and community. Student council is a great opportunity to become active, as well as meet and work with new people. I've been a secretary since I was in middle school, so I have experience and am ready for any new challenge that comes my way. Thank you for your time! "  she smiled as she bowed.

Well.... She was the secretary back then, and Ganyu, her girlfriend, was usually at her side, making sure Keqing didn't overwork herself.

Keqing's speech exudes resolve and power. She isn't asking us to vote for her, but she is demanding it in a polite way. I'm not sure how to put it, but her speech convinced me that she is the greatest choice for secretary.

"Hello, everyone, my name is Albedo. I am here as a candidate of the student council secretary. This will be first time running up for the student council. However, as a secretary. I am sure I'm capable of it because I have won many awards back then at middle school that kind of involves the work of being a secretary. I may be new to this but I will do my best to exceed your expectations of being the secretary of the student council. Thank you for listening" he said as he bowed.

He is calm and composed, and he appears to be quite intelligent. He is qualified to be a secretary, but I'm curious who will triumph between him and Keqing.

A/N:

I hope you don't get bored by this. The election will end tomorrow after the treasurer's speech. I can't write for a while since we're going to a vacation. But I will try my best to write even short ones.
