"We finally have a couple here," Amber laughed. "We are a couple too, Amber," Eula said.

"And Xiao and Venti," Lumine said.

"Well, let's rephrase it," Amber said. "We finally have another couple," Amber smiled.

"Congrats for the both of you," said Kokomi. "Thank you," Miko smiled.

"Miko gets irritated easily when someone bothers her, so.... make her always calm down," Hu Tao laughed. "I will," Ei smiled.

"May I have a word with you, Ei," Xiao said.

"Of course,"

"In private," he said. Ei stared at him, puzzled, but she just nodded.

"Xiao is like a father to us," Hu Tao whispered at Yanfei.

*

"This is where you first met, right?" Xiao asked.

"Well, technically, we met at the park, but we also met here, and this is our first time talking," Ei explained.

"I see," Xiao said. "I'm just here to talk about Miko," he added.

"I care a lot about her, I mean, she's like my sister," Xiao said.

A/N: I REPEAT THIS IS NOT RELATED TO THE GAME'S LORE TwT

"I understand your fear, Xiao, and I will not let anything happen to her," Ei said with a smile. "I know, but she's just reckless and does anything she wants; she may beat a guy to a pulp," he chuckled.

"Please look after her," Xiao pleaded. "She had a lover once; she may not want to speak about it, but that lady shattered her heart, terribly; maybe it's better if you don't ask her about it, but if you really want to know, you may ask her; it's your option," he said.

"However, be ready to be there for her if you ask her about it," he added. "Thank you for informing me of this; perhaps I'll ask her about it eventually, but for now, I'd like to focus on what we have and make her.... the happiest girl," Ei smiled.

"She's already the happiest girl I know; she found her long-lost childhood friend," Xiao chuckled. "And her childhood friend became her lover," Xiao smirked.

What Xiao said made Ei flush. Who wouldn't blush at that? Your childhood friend, whom you have loved from the first time you saw her, is now yours.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your lunch," he said. "It's alright, I was done with my lunch anyways," Ei replied, leaning against the wall.

"What did you feel... when you remembered?" he inquired. "Complete,"

"I feel... complete," Ei said. "I felt like.... crying, wanting to apologize to her for the pain I had given her..... from the accident," Ei continued.

"But... what I felt the most was happiness, and I felt my love for her, it was.... amazing. I can't explain how much I loved her, it just came to me like a bomb. I-i don't know how to explain it," Ei stated.

"Don't blame yourself. It wasn't your fault, it wasn't your doing that you and Miko and your sister were involved in that accident, and it was never your intention to hurt her," Xiao remarked.

"I-i know, but...."

"Raiden Ei, it was never your fault, and from what Miko told me, I understand both her and your side," Xiao said.

"Miko didn't have any resentment for you; instead, she was happy and worried about you,"

"Don't overthink things; just focus on what you have with her, on making her the happiest girl in the world, on loving her," Xiao said.

Ei didn't expect Xiao to say things like this; she had always assumed that Xiao was cold and heartless, but she now sees that Xiao cares about his friends; he considers them like family, even if he doesn't show it often.

"I-uh. Thank you, Xiao,"

Xiao simply nodded and smiled slightly at Ei.

"I promise I'll take care of her, so don't worry; I won't allow anyone hurt her," Ei said.

"I know, Ei. I know,"

*

"Ehhh, what did you guys talk about? Did Xiao scare you?" Hu Tao said, chewing on her food.

"Hu Tao, manners. You're eating, don't speak while you're eating," Yanfei smacked her.

"It's a secret, finish your food," Xiao said as he sat down.

"What did you guys talked about?" Miko whispered at Ei.

"I'll tell you later, okay? Finish your lunch first, then I'll accompany you to your room," Ei said quietly.

Miko just nodded happily and ate her lunch.

Miko never imagined that this day would happen. That she will have another lover again, because the scar from her last relationship was still there, until she met Ei and remembered everything about Ei.

*

"I have my things in the back of my car; I'll take you home and wait for you there to grab your things; after class, I'll be waiting outside your room," Ei said, kissing Miko on the forehead.

Miko simply nodded, kissed Ei on the cheek, and entered the classroom. Ei walked to her classroom as well, and their lesson began.

*

Miko slumped on her desk, exhausted from the lecture, which was Mathematics. She wasn't horrible at the subject, but it was hard since the subject uses all of your brain juice and drains the hell out of you.

She was, however, overjoyed at the idea of seeing her beloved, and she planned to spend the night and the day tomorrow with her. So she left her classroom with excitement and.... She found her happy pill there. She ran over to her and hugged her.

"Hmm? Are you tired?" Ei asked.

"A bit," Miko mumbled, snuggling up to her lover's neck.

"Ehem," Ayaka feigned a cough. "You may flirt in the car and at the beach," Ayaka giggled.

Ei giggled uneasily, "S-sorry." "Should we leave?" Ei said, looking at Miko, who had her eyes closed and was comfortable in her position cuddling her lover.

Miko nodded and let go of hugging her lover, she clung her arm to Ei's and walked away from the scene.

"They sure are happy," Ayaka chuckled. "Jealous?" Lumine asked.

"Hmm, a little bit, should I find a lover?" Ayaka asked, holding her chin in a thinking pose with her hand.

Lumine gave her a disappointed expression. "Well, I assume it's simple for you because you're attractive, smart, and the daughter of a successful businessman," Lumine said.

"Ehh? You flatter me, mimi," Ayaka said with a chuckle. Lumine simply rolled her eyes but smiled after when Ayaka called her that; it was her favorite nickname, but only because it came from Ayaka.
