SERENITY'S dad also met Havoc that night. Pagkatapos nila mag-dinner, niyaya pa ng ama niya si Havoc na maglaro ng chess bago magpaalam ang huli na uuwi na.

"Your parents was so nice, Serenity." nakasandal ito sa kotse nito habang nakaharap sa kanya, inihatid kasi niya ito sa labas ng bahay nila.

"They are, and they like you too."

Havoc chuckled, "You think so?"

"Yes. You even earn their trust so easily, how did you do that?"

"I dunno," he caressed her hair, "You're so lucky to have a parents like them, you deserved it, actually."

"H-how about your father? Is he still alive?" alanganing tanong niya sa binata. Bumalik sa pagkakasandal sa kotse nito ang lalaki, saka ito namulsa.

"Yes, but we're not in good terms, also my relationship with my grandfather. That's why I'm living on my own condo unit, my mom gave that to me as a gift when I was thirteen years old, the day before she died." tumingala si Havoc sa madilim na kalangitan, ramdam niya ang lungkot sa boses nito. Hindi siya nagsalita, hinayaan lang niyang mag-open-up si Havoc sa kanya.

She's just standing there, listening to him.

"She died in a car accident, when she saw and learn that my dad was having an affair with other woman. Kaya nang mag-eighteen years old ako, lumipat ako agad sa condo unit na binigay ng mom ko. I didn't accept any single amount from my father since that, I invest the money that my mom left for me to stocks."

Serenity's amazed and feel sad at the same time for Havoc. She's amazed that he became an independent in a young age while she feel sad at the same time just because he needed to do that, dahil sa pagkamatay ng ina nito at galit sa sarili nitong ama.

"I'm sure your mom was so proud of you in heaven, Havoc. M-me too, I'm proud of you." he smiled and pinch her chin.

Inayos niya ang pagkakabuhat kay Leonardo na nasa mga bisig niya. "Ahm, Havoc, about what you told me earlier..sa parking lot ng university--"

"Like what I said, no pressure. Let's take it one step at a time, I know you're new about this," tumayo ng maayos si Havoc sa harap niya, he lifted her chin to met his dark-gray orbs, "But please, don't you dare avoid me, huh?"

"I won't."

"Pinky promise?" he let go of her chin, saka nito inilahad ang isang hinliliit nito sa kanya.

Why she find him so adorable when he said that? hindi tuloy niya mapigilan ang paghagikgik. "Pinky promise." aniya, itinaas niya ang isang kamay at ipinulupot ang pinkie sa daliri nito.

"Thanks for listening to me, good night, baby."

He peck on her forehead, hinaplos nito sa ulo si Leonardo bago ito sumakay sa kotse nito. That night, she went on her bed with a smile on her lips, thinking about Havoc.

Since their family dinner together with Havoc happen, madalas na siyang sinusundo ng lalaki sa bahay nila tuwing umaga para sabay silang pumasok sa university. Serenity's kinda amaze with Havoc too, why not? Seems like he gain her overprotective father's trust.

"What's that, Serenity?" tanong sa kanya ni Havoc habang nagda-drive ito papunta sa university. Tinutukoy nito ang box na nakapatong sa kandungan niya.

"It's a flower vase made from clay. Project namin sa isang subject namin," maingat niyang binuksan ang kahon at inilabas ang vase, "I made this! Nilagyan ko rin ng kaunting design because I think it's so dull kung plain white lang." Tukoy niya sa design na kulay dark-gray minimalist style.
