3rd Person POV
Via texted her sister as she drove and she answered quickly. Via got to where they were and they all looked at her
"V, whose blood is that?" Kiara asked and Via cried as Kiara grabbed her and let her cry
"What the hell happened?" JJ asked her as she pulled away from Kiara
"Rafe killed peterkin" Via whispered and they all looked at her
"Rafe did what?" Kiara asked and Via shook her head
"There's no time Kie, the gold is gone and he took Sarah" She cried as JJ pulled her in for a hug until John b walked over
"Dude" JJ said as via let him go and John b walked over to via and held her face
"You got away?" He whispered and she nodded softly
"John b whose blood is that?" Kiara asked
"Who do you think?" Via said and they shared a look.
"What do we do?" JJ asked being the rational one and they looked at each other
"Go to the police station" John b said and Via shook her head
"John b we were there, ward is gonna twist this on us" Via stated and John b shook his head
"It's still worth a try" he said and they got into the car as they drove to the police station
"John b what are we doing at the police station?" JJ asked in fear and Via sighed as she grabbed a rag from the van and wiped the blood off of her hands
"Somebody's gotta tell them what happened" John b said and he looked at via as pope started coughing
"Easy there chief damn" JJ told pope as he patted his back.
"Alright I'm just gonna be real with you right now. You might end up in the lions den but you don't go there on purpose. It's fundamental. Just like my old man always told, you should never ever trust the cops, no matter what the circumstance is" JJ ranted and Via sighed
